Once again @SunderlandAFC are struggling to sell their tickets.
Demand has obviously hit rock bottom since they are bottom of the league.
Tickets for the Caravao Cup game tomorrow are being sold for less than £10 in an attempt to get some interest.
Wow.

I reckon with about 90% of their appointments lately, Newcastle United teach me about a role in football I didn’t know existed.
That’s ten years of Ashley that is. Charnley doing everything by the end.
Absolutely bizarre he didn’t already have this #NUFC
A fitting tribute to a true Newcastle legend 🖤🤍

And through all of that, Jacob Murphy would still be holding down a starting place on the right wing 😂

If someone had told me in March 2025, when we won the Carabao Cup, that within two years Eddie Howe would be managing Man United, Isak would be at Liverpool, Bruno Guimarães at Arsenal, Tonali at Spurs and Gordon at Barcelona, I’d have told them they were smoking crack.

Football “influencers” shouldn’t be anywhere near this ceremony. It is for players, coaches and their families.
No wonder it sounded like a circus in there. If I got invited, I would decline out of respect for the ceremony and out of respect for the sport.
But this is the sad reality of football in the social media age.
John Nellis, Celine, Thogden etc you all have blood on your hands.

Sticking with Carrick while you try and entice Eddie Howe when there's Conte and Nagelsmann available is like dating Pat Butcher while you've got your eye on Kat Slater but Margot Robbie is winking at you at the bar

Also haven’t been to Newcastle Arena in a long old time but, when did £9.50 for a pint become acceptable?
There’s always going to be a bit of price gouging and it’s a captive audience, I get that, but that’s excessive. Touching £10 for a Moretti? In the North East?

100 days ago, I promised to do things differently.
From cutting everyday costs to handing power back to communities, change is already underway.
But I know there’s much more to do - this is just the beginning.

Burnham has spent the day going on about how the only way for the UK economy to survive is to get close to the collapsing EU
The he announces a policy of cutting import tariffs, something he can only do because of Brexit
It’s not so much that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing but the left hand not knowing of the existence of the right hand & denying that it even exists in the first place
