The foundation is Slop Toronto, built on the open-source Slop New York project.
We built the GTA-style gameplay layer on top of their massive city simulation, integrating vehicles, characters, and interactions into real Toronto geography.
Huge credit to @johnfewell and his incredible project, which allowed us to build this game in just 6 hours (instead of 6 days).
Me and @ElkhoulyYouseph built this at LarpHacks, where we won 1st place for Best Use of Render.
A ridiculous idea that somehow became a playable game.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped make it happen.
This was one of the most fun things I've ever built.
What should we add next? 🇨🇦

Our latest GLM 5.3 full-model BF16 test:

vLLM: 63.5 output tokens/sec
2.61X aggregate output throughput.
Same 96 workflows. Same request bodies. 32 concurrent users.
Dostoevsky argued 160 years ago that humans would deliberately act against their own interests just to prove they were free.
Now we're building AI systems that might eventually know what's best for us better than we do.
If AI could make every decision in your life better than you could, would you still want to make any yourself?
I spent some time thinking about this.
(my first attempt at an essay, feedback appreciated!)
