Here is a mini masterclass for setting up product analytics for an early stage SaaS 👇️ Step #1 - Sign up to @posthog Why PostHog? 1️⃣It's got the best free plan on the market (1M events for free per month) 2️⃣It's easy to integrate 3️⃣It has a lot of great integrations (bonus: you can connect it to @sequenzy_com and set up insane data-driven sequences) Step #2 - Integrate PostHog in your SaaS I recommend adding PostHog's client-side tracking so you get pageviews, form submissions, and other useful events out-of-the-box. You also want to make sure you can send backend events to your PostHog project. You can add PostHog just to your web app, or across both your app and public site. Alternatively, use @PlausibleHQ or @DataFast_ for the public site, and PostHog for the app. Step #3 - Verify it's working Once pushed to production, visit your app and confirm you see events being sent in the Activities view in PostHog.
