Give this old museum a bit of love! London would be poorer without it <3
Our crowdfunder will be going live this Saturday 6th February! Save the date! Tell your friends and family! We have some wondrous rewards lined up and guaranteed good cheer if you help us survive the repercussions of this pandemic! #SavePollocksToyMuseum
question: should I plug a solidarity fund crowdfunder to a potential bumble date?

if anyone wants to join guided tours run by myself at Pollocks Toy Museum, or take a look at the woodcut workshops there too, here's the link: pollockstoymuseum.co.uk/
tours happening for the next two Fridays, more tbc!
demo for the elephant shopping centre at 5pm this Thurs - "Bring megaphone, spray paint, smoke flares, anything you feel you need..." (from one of the organisers) - meet by the faraday silver cube right by the tube centre. Solidarity - venceremos!
long live the elephant - the shopping centre is closed this Thursday for good. Another soulful place gutted - capitalist crisis just steamrollering every last bit of life in its path to dust. Watch out for whitewashed development and chain shops & prices as high as the newbuilds!
trying out different coloured Japanese papers - this one from @shepherdsldn: woodcut print of Boadicea sweeping away property developers in the middle, a print by (insta handle) @jackfawdrytatham of a St Kilda islander to the bottom right. #printmaking
first ever workshop! watch this space for more <3 - radical tours of Fitzrovia and the toy museum to come too, on their own or as part of the printmaking workshop!
Lovely day at a radical history storytelling and print making workshop run by @sethprints in Pollock’s toy museum
writing histories of Fitzrovia-going to do walking tours/printmaking sessions there soon. Apparently in Newman Passage there was a communard kitchen in 1871, for political exiles & who fled the commune after it was crushed. Meat hung from the gantries and it was open all the time
