My wife has roots in a holler in SE Kentucky. Everytime something went wrong or didn't go her way she'd say shoot to it. I had never heard that before and thought it was the coolest. The pic is of a weapon, the company I work for makes the ammo for it.

I was raised by a union steel worker right here in Ohio by a man who voted for Democrats his entire life, but the Democrats today look nothing like they did a few decades ago.
They're more extreme, they're weak on crime and the southern border, they're more socialist, and they're flat-out wrong for Ohio.

If we're moving as much oil through the Strait of Hormuz as we did before the war, why is gas still so expensive?
Two reasons.
Due to California's policy of forcing refiners out of their state with high taxes, fees and regulations, we've lost much of America's refining capability.
Believe it or not. When we want to refine oil we need to ship it overseas, have it refined and ship it back. All of that costs money.
Secondly, the current way that we're moving the oil is more expensive. That increases your cost at the pump.
The ultimate solution will be to end the conflict with Iran satisfactorily. We all know they've been holding on hoping for regime change in our Congress. They know Democrats will be weak and give in to them.
If Republicans are victorious, I think Iran will sue for a deal very quickly because they cannot survive economically otherwise.
Would seem a shame to have endured all this and be so close to victory only to elect Democrats and surrender to Iran.
