😡 This is so frustrating to watch. Angela Rayner is asked over and over again about Labour’s leasehold promise and just refuses to answer, instead she keeps repeating the same clearly pre-rehearsed line.
Why bother doing these interviews if you’re not willing to give an honest answer? You’re supposed to be serving the public. You’re on national television to answer questions for the public, yet you just sit there and dodge with another pre-rehearsed answer.
Refusing to give the guarantee they once made makes me think Labour simply can’t deliver it now.

This from @AngelaRayner is so manipulative. The people of Britain have to make “trade offs” on “freedom of movement” (immigration/illegal migration) so that businesses can do better.
Redirecting the conversation neatly away from the concerns of the British people as to safety, particularly of women and girls. But also away from overstretched public services and increasing lack of community cohesion, identity and civil behaviour.
What a snake. Women and girls’ being raped and abused are not a “trade off” for business profit.
You aren’t having an honest conversation if you start off on a carpet of lies.
