Capitalism broadly is classified into 3 types in the West: Anglo-Saxon, Liberal Democratic and Social Democratic. The difference reflects the institutions used to control poverty (ie the extent of redistribution used to stabilise the economy).

I just listened to Slick Will and the Layabouts, and bought the album. “Rest assured, freedom will have its coup”!? C’mon man. That line is absolute perfection. I listened to Sevens five times in a row, at high volume. I have a broad taste in music and dabbled in the “hardcore” scene back in the day (Corrosion of Conformity for instance). Anyway, your album is a perfect inoculation against the times. Nicely done. And thank you. I’ll keep exploring—I see you have a second album as well.

It’s socialism & communism which don’t account for greed as they rely on a false premise that everyone will be altruistic and work for the benefit of the whole. Capitalism aligns the “greed” of the individual with the benefit of society by giving financial incentive to improve it
