Demo of the B2B SaaS template app is ready. Has full flows for adding users, organizations, invitations, api keys, and more. Clicking the live demo link on the landing page shows you the password so you can login to the portal to test it out. Who wants to give it a go?

A B2B Multi-Tenant SaaS Template for TypeScript (Open Source) I've been working on this for about a month and a half now. And open sourcing/launching soon. It's the template I would want to get started building a multi-tenant b2b saas. Comes pre built with an → Admin and Customer Portal → ways to manage user roles, invitations, organizations and memberships. → api formats and error handling → data tables (frontend) i.e all that important generic auth and other stuff, that has nothing to do with the actual app you want to build. I've always found it frustrating that so much boilerplate is needed before you can start working on a b2b app, and delivering features on it, so this template aims to solve that. Stack is based off TypeScript, Better Auth, Prisma, NextJs, so you get the power of all these great typescipt packages as well. I'm launching soon. Want to work on the setup scripts some more, and some docs as well, before releasing. Does it sounds like something you would use? DM me if yes. Would love to share a link to it, and get some feedback on it as well.

Just went to see 13 startups pitch at Oraseya Capital's pitch day. Here are 4 tips from Oraseya on how to access VC funding in Dubai and the region. But first, who are Oraseya? They are the #1 most active investor in the UAE, and have invested in around 65 startups in since forming in 2022. They fund from pre-seed up to Series B. Sandbox is their 5 month intensive accelerator program. The top startups at the end of the program receive $150K in funding. So what did Head of Programs Elliott (Els) Denham have to say about getting funding from VC's → Prove you have good traction via an MVP. An MVP doesn't need to be an app, it just needs to prove your idea is in demand. A waiting list with 10,000 people signed up can do that job. Most ideas are rejected because they are just MVPs with no proven traction. → Understand the business model of VC's, so you know to how to sell them. VC's are looking for outliers. It is a high risk, high return model. Your potential returns need to match that. Know what they are looking for. → Most funded startups fail because of bad cash flow management, or building something no one wants. Avoid this, and you are ahead of the curve. → If you do get approved for funding, make sure all your paperwork is in place to make the process go smooth and fast. Don't lost out on the momentum you have just created, and let the opportunity slip. Overall a very insightful talk. And points you really need to take in if you are trying to get funding. I'll share a few of the startup pitches that stuck out for me in some future posts as well, so do give me a follow if this something you would be interested in reading.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 .. 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 A product manager or business person can now go into Claude or ChatGPT and describe the feature they want. The UI for the feature gets built inside the chat, where it renders in real time, and you can tweak it till you get it looking like you want. The design looks nice as well, using the latest styling libraries available for a polished look. The PM shares the screenshot with their developer, along with the source code needed to generated it. 𝟮 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 The Product Manger has just taken on the roles of a 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿. This same work, 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗵 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝟯 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, now requires just one. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱? 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘵 𝘢 𝘜𝘐 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘥𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘵, 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 The developer gets handed a design screenshot to work from AND the sample code to get it working. His time to completion is now reduced also, because the code is already there. 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 Teams can move faster, with big reductions in turnaround times and cost for new features. They can respond to their users needs more quickly. Welcome to the new world.

I feel like learning curves are totally smashed through now that we have access to AI What might have taken hours, days, weeks to learn, goes down to minutes and hours Instead of searching through countless articles, books, posts, and scrapping together bits of information from here and there to try I and come up with a whole that describes this new area or problem you are trying to solve, You just ask the AI what you need. And it tells you. It even has context to your current problem. E.g it can read your document or code base and give very targeted information, to YOUR exact problem. You can ask follow up questions, and dig into areas you find interesting, or want to understand more. That means you get IMMEDIATE and deep access to the knowledge you are searching for. That speeds up learning, big time. Like Elon Musk said recently, the AI's have master and PHD level knowledge in ALL areas, not just one, like most people. What I think this means is that people can be much more cross disciplinary now. The learning curve for new topics has been obliterated, which means you can do useful work in more areas. For example, my main skills are as a web developer. Server, Infrastructure, Network type things were not my strong suit at all. But with AI, I can be quite useful in these areas now. And solve problems quickly. So the range of areas I can be useful in now has increased. Im sure its the same for a lot of other skills/disciplines also. Back in the day, when the sciences were still new, people were said to be skilled in a lot of the sciences, since there was less to know in each one. Compare that to today where each subject is so deep, so people niche down a lot. Maybe AI will help bring back some more of those cross disciplinary skills again?

And a lot of the local methods, you can get the UTC equivalent value by just including a UTC in the method name e.g getMonth() v.s getUTCMonth()
