OpenAI's new o1 model is a BIG breakthrough in AI intelligence, if IQ tests say anything.
I gave it the Norway Mensa IQ test, and it blows other AIs out of the water.
I'm surprised!... Because there hadn't been public progress in the last 6mo.

My 8yo son built a Three.js site with zero coding experience
He used Claude AI and let Cursor apply all the code for him. He actually made several projects including 2 platformer games, a drawing app, an animation app and an AI chat app. ~2 hours spent on each. I only helped him set up Cursor, Git and Netlify.
Code is a design tool and you don’t even need to code anymore.

The web development industrial complex has lied to your face:
- auth: yes you can do it yourself
- scale: yes you can do it yourself
- database: yes you can do it yourself
- server: yes you can do it yourself
And no when your site goes viral you don't need to pay a $20,000 bill
Replying to @dhh
The merchants of complexity will try to convince you that you can't do anything yourself these days. You can't do auth, you can't do scale, you can't run a database, you can't connect a computer to the internet. You're a helpless peon who should just buy their wares. No. Reject.
