Is the Prime Minister and Health Minister going to accept that we need lockdown to end and targeted shielding to begin so that the scraps of this country can be salvaged so we can try to rebuild for our children? Go work, shield the sick, save lives?

I'd love to know what the PM was doing that was more important than sticking around to hear elected Members of Parliament debate whether to continue with the biggest seizure of individual liberty in British history...

Attention Twitter, please help this teddy bear go viral! Someone has dropped him or her outside Queen’s Park, where he/she is waiting to be collected. I can’t bear to leave unattended. Please share to reunite this creature with rightful owner 🐻

You can now be locked up...for being human!
Yesterday MPs passed a law by 333 to 1 to let police use 'reasonable' force to detain and lock up people for not isolating. Sir Charles Walker MP tells me: “I was the 1. I was both the definition of futility and HM Opposition. If it was not so serious and sad it would be funny.”

Yet another reminder that we need a genuinely liberal party in the House of Commons - the 'libertarian Tories' simply cannot be relied on.

I broke my own enforced rule, by watching an array of TV news bulletins! Big mistake - So negative; so depressing; so full of anger! My self imposed ban has been reactivated! – at Hammersmith, London

Break the goddam rule of six. Don't leave elderly relatives isolated unless that's their wish. Take precautions depending on your circumstances It's absurd and terrible that our govt is ruling on such things, And if millions say 'no', what on earth are they going to do about it?

Andrew Marr is unbelievably dismissive and almost disrespectful of Matt Hancock - in fact sarcastic bordering on rude! Finally for God’s sake, Mr Marr - Scotland has 5 million people - England 56 million! Apples with pears? – at Hammersmith, London

The NHS is a riddle wrapped in a mystery. The “envy of the world”, yet in a state of perpetual crisis. Like a wayward child, it is both our proudest achievement and a source of constant worry - and like many a doting parent, we cannot admit our offspring’s fundamental mediocrity
Replying to @MattHancock
2/2 - Today, our NHS maintains these principles & is the best healthcare system in the world. This is thanks to our fantastic NHS staff & our national effort to protect it. #ThankYouTogether
