Hmmm you know how Opportunity said they'd go away & look at changing their constitution so that their board wouldn't have veto power of its elected officials...?
It doesn't look like they've done it. So 6 people we know very little about will be the one's deciding if Opportunity go left or right if they are kingmaker. Can Opportunity be made to answer how this is democratic at all?

Breathtaking hypocrisy from Qiulae Wong this morning as she doubled down on defending Opportunity’s biggest donor (Alan Wilderland, $220k+) sitting on the board that can veto any coalition deal with just two votes.
What didn’t get put to her is that his money and the $5k a month “to keep the lights on” is what’s let them start paying people including her and the GM, Iain Lees-Galloway.
So the guy who’s funding the salaries, sits on the strategy team and also helped pick Wong as leader, gets a direct say in who runs the country.
Wong thinks this is “perfectly acceptable” while claiming Opportunity wants to get the big money out of politics.
This is farcical.

I feel sad having to do this too. I feel awful for Simeon as campaign chair and I feel for Bishop and Goldsmith but I can’t see any other way. They should have rolled Luxon. 😔
“However, the centre-right have a rare lifeline. A lifeline that National is desperately telling us all to ignore. That means that if the right wing bloc are to get back into Parliament, we may have to drag National kicking and screaming over the line. Put simply, we may have to save them from themselves.”

More sustainable city smart leadership from Europe. I do like the idea of no cars in the inner city.... as most cyclists would .... #ambition #sustainablecities #leadership lnkd.in/ffMdbBA
Whilst many will have arguments against this... I believe it is this sort of bold policy setting approach that is required to deliver a more sustainable future #sustainability #ambition lnkd.in/fFSKfWB
