Misogyny is such a fascinating exercise in illogical reasoning.
A male pilot jumps to his death, and a female student pilot successfully lands a plane in an emergency. Nobody questions whether men should be allowed to fly.
But let a woman who wasn’t even piloting scream in an emergency, and suddenly she’s evidence that women shouldn’t be pilots.
A man’s failure is an individual tragedy. A woman’s fear becomes an indictment of her entire gender.

I'll keep saying it: Christian nationalism doesn't become biblical simply because conservatives embrace it.
Rod Dreher, a longtime conservative Christian writer and former supporter of Hungary's Viktor Orbán, is now calling Christian nationalism a “heresy” and warning about the growing influence of white nationalism and antisemitism on the right.
It's a big shift from someone who once championed Orbán's own hard-right brand of politics. But as David French stated, at least no one can claim "Rod Dreher is a squish about the left."

A boy of ONLY 10 YEARS OLD has been put under EXAMINATION in Saint-Brieuc for attempted rape with a weapon and attempted murder of a 22-year-old young woman.
On June 15, while the victim was exercising in a wooded area, the child allegedly ordered her to undress. Faced with her refusal, he allegedly inflicted two knife wounds on her, to the arm and abdomen, before fleeing.
ARRESTED by police with a knife matching the one used in the assault, the minor confessed to the facts during his interrogation.
Due to his age, no criminal sanction can be imposed at this stage. The judge has ordered a provisional judicial educational measure, and steps have been taken for his hospitalization. (AFP)
