I don't want to keep reading bullshit about Irish football players being placed in a difficult position etc. If their son or daughters arms had been blown off by genocidal Israeli cunts I'm sure they wouldn't be playing the match. But when it's a Palestinian's son or daughter they become gutless and conscience free. It's beyond shameful and abhorrent.

Doesn’t really matter how well you play against the Israelis - you lose by stepping onto the pitch.
This is Khalifa from Gaza, he came to Ireland twice, played football, met the President. He was a Palestine National Youth Team player. He was 20 when he was murdered by Israel, one of the 566 football players they killed. He is why the FAI must not play apartheid Israel.
Gavin Bazunu, only 24 years old and more backbone than any of these other cunts. He has more to lose but is standing up for what’s right! May nothing but amazing opportunities come his way! As for the fai and the team who’ve hung him out to dry? Sold your souls #stopthegame

It was confirmed to me this morning by a prominent football journalist informed by a former FAI board member that the UK-based player agency Unique Sports Group (@UniqueSG) threatened the Irish players yesterday that they'd never play for US-owned UK clubs if they refused to play

Well done to Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu for taking the principled decision to withdraw from the game against Israel.
He should never have been put in this position, but he has shown immense moral courage and integrity by doing the right thing in the face of genocide.

For over a year, boxes containing 900 wheelchairs meant for people in Gaza have been sitting in a warehouse because Israel won’t let them in, classifying the wheelchairs as “potential weapons”
Hundreds of wheelchairs, donated by Aussie charities for children in Gaza, are stuck in Jordanian warehouses

Spoke my heart out to the Irish players ahead of Israel's game recounting the erasure of Gaza's football academies, the mass murder of footballers, & the obliteration of the football scene.
The Irish players have children. Listen to them. Don't play.❤️🇮🇪

The Saudi-led coalition has imposed a blockade on the people of Yemen for over a decade, creating a man-made famine. Over 150K children under the age of 5 died of malnutrition; some 60% of deaths in Yemen (over 370K) since the blockade were due in large part to structural collapse and starvation. And these are only estimated figures from 2015-2021*

An investigation by the Israeli outlet HaMakom (המקום הכי חם בגיהנום) reports that soldiers from the Nahal Brigade’s 50th Battalion found an elderly Palestinian woman in a combat zone in Gaza and decided to evacuate her.
She was bound and blindfolded and placed in a military vehicle with three soldiers. According to testimony collected by HaMakom, the officer accompanying her received a phone call, stopped the vehicle, took the elderly woman out, and shot her dead.
One soldier described it as “the execution of an elderly woman who was supposed to be evacuated.”

We're calling on Irish TDs and senators to pressure the Irish government to accept the students and allow them to come and study here.
For humanity's sake, we need to achieve this.
