Why is Windows and Windows applications so shockingly bad at cleaning up after itself?
I can find upwards of 50GB of cache files, patches, log files, none of which are necessary.
Do developers really think that disk space is unlimited?
I have to say the AI assistant on the @WesternDigiCare website is missing the "I" in AI.
I just typed, "How do I get a receipt or invoice", and its response was, "I think you want warranty, is that correct?"
How does that possibly make any sense?
I can only begin to imagine what the late Steve Jobs would have said if a designer had come to him and said:
"We've decided that the best place to put the power switch for the Mac Mini is underneath, at the back. We want it to be different!"
Genuinely incomprehensible idea.
Sometimes I just shake my head in wonder at some of the ridiculous decisions companies make.
Why?
Why, for crying out loud, does Gmail call a folder a label?
100% of the world's population understands "folder".
What purpose (or advantage) does renaming it to a label serve?
Why does Apple think "natural scrolling" is the opposite direction to that which 99.9% of the world's population thinks is natural?
I've been listening to the @virginmedia on-hold Jazz music for over 20 minutes (so far), and it's really starting to grate.
Also, it's *really* unnecessary to tell me every 10 seconds that the lines are busy; I already deduced that!
I'll hold my hands up and say I'm no Python expert.
So, can someone explain this?
I type quit, and Python understands I want to quit, but tells me to type quit() rather than exiting.
Explain to me why this is not the dumbest response possible.
Please, please @ubuntu, either make snap work so I can access files in the current directory or do away with it completely. It is utterly useless as provided.
Genuine question: What is the point of the Snap package manager on Ubuntu?
I installed an app that is so sandboxed that it can't access files in the current directory, which is essential for it to work.
Genini suggests I run it via a trusted Docker image.
WTAF?
I'm rapidly discovering that the only way to use artificial intelligence effectively is if you have real intelligence...

Outstanding customer service from @porterairlines.
I fly from Ottawa to New York tomorrow and have checked in.
To access my boarding pass, I need your mobile app.
This isn't available to someone from the U.K.
Why not?
How can a 27-slide PowerPoint presentation be 11.8MB?
I deleted every slide with a picture (not many), and it's still 6.8MB.
While I'm at it, what moron in the Microsoft UI group decided to relocate the compress picture option?
😡
Hi @aixenergy.
Can you tell me how I can unsubscribe from your spam emails that I never signed up for?
I have used the link that claims to unsubscribe me, but it doesn't. I even tried sending a direct email to [email protected], but that also failed.
JUST STOP SENDING ME SPAM!
Remember when Musk challenged the World Food Program to explain how he could solve world hunger with just $6 billion, they did, and he just completely ignored them?
I'll be presenting #Java #JVM #OpenJDK #JDK on Friday in Singapore. Feel free to come and join me!

I was yesterday years old when I discovered that it's a *really* bad idea to remove the Python package from your Ubuntu installation.
An awful lot of stuff suddenly stops working.
Great job @uber!
Arrived at Heathrow Terminal 4 and none of your instructions for pickup are correct. App is wrong, website is wrong.
Amazed if you get any business from here.
This quote is from an article in @computing_news (computing.co.uk/news-analysi…).
How can anyone look at that and see any sense in it?
AI bubble? What AI bubble?
