This is my friend, Rex!
We like to eat sushi and hot pot, and tease our other friends, and compare narrative opinions and had the pleasure of sharing a working space together for months into over a year.
My guy deserves to have some breathing room, support him 🫶
Hey everyone, I have some tough news to share. I’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer, which is why production has slowed down across the channel. I opened up about it on last night’s stream, but I know my audience is spread across multiple platforms, so I wanted to make a formal statement here.
During the stream, a lot of people asked if I had a GoFundMe. I’ve since created one and will link it below for those who want to provide additional support. The page also has more details about my situation that won’t fit well in a post like this.
I also want to be very clear: I am not going anywhere. I care deeply about the stories I’m creating, and I am fully invested in seeing them through. Please just understand that things might slow down a bit while I undergo treatment.
Thank you all for standing by me during this time.
-Rex

“We can’t find anyone who wants to work anymore.”
Meanwhile I walk into Target and see six closed checkout lanes, one cashier, and a line at self-checkout.
I applied there. Filled out the online application, did the AI questionnaire, did two interviews, and waited four weeks for a rejection.
Then I went back to the same store and saw the same six registers closed and the same “NOW HIRING” sign on the door.
So which is it?
Nobody wants to work, or nobody can get through the machine built to hire them?

Like HELLO!?
IF YOU CARE ABOUT AVATAR STUDIOS!!! READ THIS!!!
This is the reality of working in studios that are picked up by larger parent companies. Avatar studios will ABSOLUTELY be massively affected, and anyone else who thinks otherwise doesn’t understand this industry.
The only thing we CAN do correctly is support artists, producers, and all types of staff who supported this dream of the continuation coming to life!
The fact glitch studios had one of the largest movie releases as this one was shot through the heart… unbelievable, truly.

Let me fill you on the Avatar the last Airbender issue
- Hundreds of artists worked all through even with the constant fear of losing their jobs
- people were excited because it was going to be on the big screen
- Production is done
- Paramount says nahh guys we are putting on our streaming platform instead
- people filed petitions,…crickets
- In the last 48 hours, an hacker group leaked the whole movie for free
- millions of people have watched it
- the videos have been taken down from X, but people are sharing links to download
- it is everywhere!!!!!
- the only way to come back is for Paramount to release this on the big screen or lose out big time
- it’s so sad to see people’s work just dumped online with no respect to creators, the corporations are evil but please the Animators that worked on this deserve a chance for their work to be shown properly.
