Excited to share our lab’s latest work in @SciImmunology, examining how CAR-T cells bypass the niches that normally support stem-like subsets in vivo and how this influences their sensitivity to checkpoint blockade.

Additionally, our data suggest that, in aggressive tumors where c-Jun overexpression is insufficient to improve CAR-T activity, combination with PD-1 axis blockade may be necessary to unleash the full potential of c-Jun overexpression. 10/

Great working with @JoeHiattMDPhD and @DMacPhersonLab on this exciting study demonstrating that LSD1 inhibition enhances endogenous anti-tumor immunity to SCLC in part via upregulation of MHC-I on tumor cells!
