So proud of my brave and brilliant friend Ben Moser “I think that at a time of genocide, you can either sit on the sidelines and exempt yourself from criticism,” he said, “or you can, as they say in Brazil, give your face to be beaten.” theguardian.com/world/2026/o…

Racial minorities, worshipped by white Democrats." @JustinOnWeb managing to insult the maximum number of people while showing us how his brain is made up of Telegraph op-eds. Clearly not as biased as Lineker who said we shouldn't demonize asylum-seekers. Webb Must Stay!
#r4today Justin Webb airs his pro-Trump anti-Democrat views yet again - does this behaviour by a presenter really conform to BBC rules of impartiality?

=>> Daniel Seidemann: "36 hours away from the opening of the polls... [And] We fear Netanyahu... A real gut, visceral fear. 36 hours away from the opening of the polls, a sizeable portion of Israeli society believes that the outcome of these elections will have a major impact on the viability of the Third Jewish Commonwealth. But the acute fear shared by many is much more focused than that. We fear Netanyahu. Not the customary apprehension. A real gut, visceral fear. Netanyahu will stop at nothing to remain in power. An attack on Iran? Sure. Intentionally igniting violence in the West Bank? You bet. Peddling "Apocalypse Now" with mushroom clouds? Check. Crashing the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange? Why not? Using violence to disrupt the electoral process? If only he could. 36 hours until the polls open. Then the 15 hours when the polls are open. Then the vote counting. Then the transition to a new government. He's desperate and panicking. He will remain dangerous as long as he remains in power - more dangerous to Israel than Iran and Hamas put together. Gird loins.

Domenico Scarlatti b otd 1685! What an endlessly fascinating composer - his music glitters, sparkles, dances, seduces with its pathos, makes us laugh - a completely unique talent, a one-off in musical history. And so distinguished-looking!

Remembering the wonderful English singer Alma Cogan who died on this day in 1966 from ovarian cancer. She was 34. She had been voted Outstanding British female singer in NME four times between 1956 and 1960. #AlmaCogan #Dreamboat #BellBottomBlues #NeverDoATangoWithAnEskimo

Perhaps the Platitude pour La Jour Bishop thinking about the death penalty on @bbcr4today could give some thought to the ongoing executions of protestors in Iran? No-one else does. I despair at the lack of engagement on this horrific issue. #r4today
