How many times did you hear Gunna’s “WGFT” during Mafiathon? 👀
Clippers earned $25,000 during Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon just by using the track “WGFT” on their clips.
It blew up into a massive trend, so viral that even RaKai and Kai kept seeing it everywhere and started singing it themselves.
Clips from Young Thug’s Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash set have already circulated millions of views across socials. Organically, this kind of reach wouldn’t have happened without clipping, extending the festival far beyond the crowd that was there.
And the best part, clippers earned from it.
It’s only a matter of time before festivals start running clipping campaigns for themselves, turning fan moments into strategy. Live performances now live twice: once on stage, and again through the creators who clip them.
Fun fact: Clippers in our community made over $5,000 from posting clips of Big Sean’s appearance on Kai’s recent Mafiathon 3…
This isn’t made up. We talked to a kid in our community last week who legitimately dropped his 9-5 to go all in on clipping.
He joined our community, and in a week, he made $4K. He’s never made that much in a week. This wouldn’t happen at the tire store.
But through posting clips on social media from the comfort of his own home, he can finally earn some real money and be his own boss.
Maybe one day he’ll own the tire store..
On September 29th in Palo Alto, IShowSpeed stopped by the 1X headquarters at 1 a.m. for a wholesome two-hour hangout with their new robot, Neo. Clips from the visit have since racked up over 40 million views, with clippers earning more than $6,000. Maybe we’ll see Speed and Neo together again soon.
Giving away a PS5 to someone in our community to celebrate 20,000 members in Clip Money ❤️ Love y’all…
Will pick winner within the week!
