Let’s talk about Dark-Sky Preserves! These are Dark-Sky Sites where artificial lighting is minimal and strictly controlled, and surrounding communities are encouraged to reduce the effect of their light pollution on the Preserve.

We all might get better sleeps if we pay attention to this aspect of our home environments.
Very proud of the whole team on this one! With a new wearable, we measured home lighting as the circadian system sees it. We found average homes are too bright before bedtime; bright enough to suppress about half of our evening melatonin on average.

Food banks, charitable toy drives, coat drives... we can only celebrate those things when we are collectively doing everything possible to close the gaps that create the need. I am not seeing @fordnation closing the gaps of inequity the way that good government should.
