10k is NOTHING i've read fics with 30k+ chapters, seen fics with even longer ones. i've also gotten into writing chapters up to 20k myself and it's incredibly fun. if u like the writing and the story then why don't u wanna read more of it lol

Hot take: I hate when authors make super long chapters and don't break them up over multiple chapters. Like, wdym this is a one shot that's 10k words? I feel like high 5k-6k and up is a little much...

tbh i get a lil annoyed when a chapter of something i'm reading is like 2k. BUT i still read it because everyone writes differently! i never thought i'd like writing 20k chapters but i love it now! to each their own lol
