From time to time folks will see a discussion of my work and say "I didn't know you worked on (fill in the gap)", or don't know I worked on *anything* after the 90s. Hence, this video, updated for 2026, but which doesn't have the upcoming new movies.

Some folks online recently bumped into my autobiography without knowing there had actually been one. And while searching other topics today I bumped into one of the reviews of said book on NPR, which I took as a sign to link it here for the curious.

Warner Bros. Licensing is handled by the Warner Bros. Licensing Department. An established publisher contacts Warner Bros. Licensing Department to make a deal to license books and/or games. If the deal is acceptable, they make a licensing deal.
I have nothing to do with the making of licensing deals.

Wish you would bring back the miniatures game Babylon 5 :A call to Arms that Mongoose Publishing did. It was one of the best space combat games I ever played, and they really did a great job with the ship minatures.
I appreciate the vote of confidence, but I lack the authority to release B5 in any form, anywhere at any time. The channel is 100% run/owned by Warners. My role is simply that of a flying monkey helping with publicity.
If you didn't know, @straczynski has been making episodes of Babylon 5 available for free on YouTube! Today's upload seems fitting! All Alone in the Night | S2 E11 | Babylon 5 FULL EPISODE youtu.be/21-rAViNyvQ?si=9v_f…
I never respond to tweets.

@straczynski's interaction with his audience is legendary. You can just ask a question and you'll likely get a response.
That reminds me, was the representation of Shadows in Road Home intentional to make them look like Starship Troopers bugs and not political eldritch horrors?
In addition to the NPR piece here's another one about BECOMING SUPERMAN from the BBC that I think came out very well.

Jeebus @straczynski ... Now I HAVE to read about your background... LOVE B5 and my childhood was somewhat formed by it. Looking forward to more sir! 🤠🫡
Given that history, a number of people over time have said I should have ended up a serial killer.
Instead I became a writer, which is about three steps down.
But there's still time...the dream remains....
I had no idea that Straczynski's childhood was so fucked up it makes Dickens novels look like fun escapism.

I'm talking about what's sitting next to you on the couch.
We're ALL talking about it.
My first full-time TV gig for sure. Prior to that I had a ten year career as a freelance journalist (San Diego Reader, Los Angeles Times, Daily Californian, Twilight Zone Magazine, Los Angeles Herald Examiner, and TIME, Inc. among others) then moved on to pursue new arenas.
Available now both online and at a bookstore near you.
The folks at Union Square just informed me that according to Bookscan, HARLAN ELLISON'S GREATEST HITS is the #5 top-selling SF Anthology of all time, and #1 for the period from 2021-present. Over 170,000 copies in print, available here in three versions.

Yeah it’s been a good run and not over yet. The video pinned to my profile has about 80% of what's there.

Wow I had no idea you did stories for cartoons this far back too. You are a legend!
Wow...I'd completely forgot I'd ever written this episode. It was also kind of a wink-and-a-nod to how much Filmation was annoyed by having to animate mouths (which is why so much dialogue happens on the back of someone's head). Not quite meta but lives next door to it.
I was, but now I am. Waiting now until I'm not.
1990s: @straczynski writes "...the terrorist nuking of San Diego" in #Babylon5
2026: Donald Trump suggests allowing Iran to take out a US city such as San Diego.
Great Maker, are you actually from the future?
You have the nerve to ask me that question after showing a photo of them serving up Centauri roast rump?
Unfortunately because it was framed so wide to get G'Kar that the shot also got my foot waggling the whole time. I didn't see the footage until it was set to upload and there was nothing to be done.
Hey @straczynski I’m glad G’Kar was present for the video with Bruce.
Eerie. It's almost as if you've been there.

I’d give real money if actual Vorlon fashion on their home world is like trashy neon pink tube-tops with vinyl hot pants & big 80s hair with giant hoop earrings. Like just completely trashy to us, but there’s nothing odd or discordant about it to them at all.
He's left handed, goes to support groups for help with his thinking problem, and he likes to listen to old Earth 33 1/3 RPM jazz records played back at 78 RPM because he thinks it's hysterical.
No one agrees with him.

@straczynski The character that I wish I knew more about is Zathras and the times he shows up he became a favourite to the point when my kids bring me the wrong item I just tell them “not the one” in his accent. Any clues you can throw or is he the Tom Bombadill of your world?
