Dutch Housing Minister Elanor Boekholt-O’Sullivan suggested that Dutch young people struggling to find homes can continue living with their parents, as the Netherlands prioritizes accommodating migrants and refugees.

Among 32 high-income countries with universal health care, Canada is second in spending, but 26th in beds, 28th in MRI units, and CT scanners, and 30th in doctors.

Immigration increased Canada's population from 35 million in 2016 to 42 million in 2026. This had no discernible benefit but our political elite is vocally committed to continuing immigration-fuelled population growth forever.

If you are going to count CPP assets, but not CPP liabilities you are just nakedly lying to people. Pro-tip CPP after accounting for its liabilities is ~net zero on the balance sheet.
Pierre Poilievre has started saying "debt is out of control". Governments do need to be careful about the debt they bring on. But here's some important context as Canada diversifies trade, builds big and supports affordability.

Not long ago the government spent about 8 cents of every dollar of revenue paying interest on the debt. This grows to nearly 14 cents in a few years time. The argument below enabled us getting here.

The Canadian government can't just give all temporary residents PR unless they want to permanently entrench this gender imbalance into our demographics. It's pickle. This is what happens when temp residents skew overwhelmingly male and prior govt had no handle on the situation

You are paying too much in taxes if your country does this.
BREAKING - Mark Carney announces $2.5 Billion to "bolster emergency preparedness" of climate change in First Nation communities.

Once again, "sovereign wealth" created from DEBT is actually REDISTRIBUTION of wealth stolen from taxpayers' children!
Carney says he'll have his finance minister "co-develop" a First Nations Sovereign Wealth Fund, "a proposal that came directly from the AFN," so First Nations can "share directly in the wealth that the country is creating." Who pays in, and how much?

This "journalist" is telling Brad Bradford, the runner-up for Toronto mayor, to end his life. She writes for several publications, including @nytimes and @globeandmail. Remember when major outlets would cut ties with journos over vile slop like this? Now they hire them.

“Whoops, we let in way too many people way too quickly for a decade, so now that has to be the new baseline for future immigration” is a wild new level of dogmatism, even for the mass migration apologists.
In the Harper years the population receiving these immigrants was about 20 per cent smaller.

Is $17B enough to get clean drinking water on reserves? No. No amount is enough, because the money is not being spent on what it is earmarked for and the federal government specifically will never audit a first nation, and so they just give the money away then never follow up.
Flashback: TRUDEAU gave the natives $5 billion for drinking water Carney is giving them $12 billion more today What do they do with all the money? Surely it's not on water 🤔

This is Nagasaki in 2026. Imagine if they spent the past 80 years wallowing in self-pity and blaming the US? It's incredible what you can accomplish when you decide to pick yourself up, move forward, and take responsibility for your own outcomes.

"Abolishing the Indian Act" is a popular idea, but only because different groups of Canadians understand what this means in WILDLY different ways. People on the right think it means "no more special status" while people on the left thinks it means "much MORE special status."
Abolish the Indian Act. We have nothing to lose but our chains. We will, of course, need new legislation that is an interface between the Federal government and First Nations. And this MUST be created alongside Chiefs and First Nation governments every step of the way. But it is time to move past the era of this outdated, racist, and patriarchal legislation. I support Prime Minister Carney’s work to position Canada as a global leader in human rights and democracy. The Indian Act is inconsistent with achieving that vision. Our laws at home should reflect the values we champion around the world. It’s time for a relationship with First Nations people that reflects who we are as Canadians today, recognizes nationhood, and lives up to the true nature of reconciliation.

The worst part is that no politician will question this unvetted immigration one since it’s about Canada’s national language. ISP brought Temporary Residents from India 🇮🇳 , French will bring Permanent Residents from Africa 🇿🇦.

The left's authoritarianism and election denialism is actually more systemic than on the right.
Understand how the narrative works. Ahead of Brazil’s election, they were gearing up to blame Meta if Lula lost. Now that he’s been declared the winner, we’re hearing about the brilliant use of WhatsApp (Meta) that helped deliver his victory. When Obama won in 2012, they celebrated his shrewd use of Facebook, voter data and microtargeting. When Brexit happened and Trump won in 2016, we got the Cambridge Analytica moral panic. When the left wins, it’s brilliant digital campaigning. When the right wins, it’s social media manipulation undermining democracy.
