Then what happened? Why do ideas from the 60s have more of a hold on young people today than the 80s?
Maybe because the 80s appealed more to men than to women. Men had Gordon Gecko. Meanwhile, women had big hair and bright lipstick and acting a little ditsy. Not hard to tell why women might have liked the 60s more..
