Have you ever completed something that you previously thought was impossible?
I completed an Ironman 70.3 event recently in Waco Texas. Something I would definitely have called āimpossibleā and it was not even something on my radar at the start of this year...
Yes

The Sex Recession Has An Ideological Tilt:
Liberals Seem Most Affected Most by the Digital Age
Since the 1990s:
āļø Weekly sex among liberal wives has dropped from 64% to 50%
āļøAmong conservative wives: 66% to 61%
Husbands are down across the board: liberals 67% ā 50%, conservatives 65% ā 53%. That gap isnāt statistically significant.

Iāve spent a few days thinking about the Tesla Roadster reveal and landed somewhere I havenāt seen much discussion. Iām neither a Tesla fanboy nor a Tesla hater. And I couldnāt care less whether what we saw technically qualifies as a flying car. Three takeaways: (1) The risk of that live demonstration going horribly wrong was real. Almost no CEO would willingly expose their company to that kind of public humiliation for a product with so little financial upside. Elon did. (2) That willingness to attempt the seemingly impossible is what makes Tesla special. Itās also arguably Elonās greatest contribution to America. Heās helped bring back something weāve lost. The American spirit of chasing big scary ideas that most people think are impossible. That mindset is spreading across a new generation of founders and its long term impact on Americaās future could dwarf anything Tesla ever sells. I think this is deeply underappreciated. (3) Can we just acknowledge how insanely cool that moment was? Weāve reached a strange place culturally where even extraordinary feats of human ingenuity immediately become arguments about why they donāt count. Not everything needs to be a debate. Sometimes we should just be able to stand back together and marvel at what humans are capable of. Iāve been both bullish and critical of Teslaās ambitions over the years. But watching Elon and his team push the boundaries of whatās possible reminds me why Iām glad we have him. Whether the Roadster ever makes Tesla a dollar or impacts $TSLA stock price is almost beside the point. We need more people willing to risk failure in pursuit of things the rest of us think are impossible. Because when they succeed we all win.
Sensor wire on one the module low voltage side disconnected - need to reattach. The BMS board looked great though
We were promised flying cars and got 140 characters
Well @elonmusk supplies them both now
Itās happening!
I bought a 2015 @Tesla Model S at auction for $4,500 and the battery is bad.
Shop didnāt want to fix it and Tesla wants 15k for a new battery.
Going to attempt to rebuild it myself.
Should I make a YouTube journey?

Palmer Luckey reveals the startup he'd build today: oxytocin doping to end divorce
"I would try to end the tragedy of divorce with oxytocin doping for marriage counseling."
"We understand mammal pair bonding pretty well. There's a lot of people who want to stay together. Most of the people who don't want to stay together should stay together, especially for their kids."
"And we can, if people think SSRIs are fine, which they're not, but if they were, then oxytocin doping to stay together is definitely fine."
"It's the mammal pair bonding chemical. There's things you can do to increase the uptake, and it's very well understood. Also, totally unregulated, which is great. Unregulated spaces are a lot easier to do. You can go buy a kilogram of oxytocin on Sigma Aldrich Chemical Supply right now, and if you do that, maybe you won't die alone."
"It's pure biology. It's used for women who don't bond with their kids, and now for women who don't bond with their husbands. It's also used for kids with various neurological issues, some kids with autism who struggle with pair bonding."
"The cool thing is it's a self-reinforcing loop. We understand that very well. Unlike most drugs, it doesn't form a chemical dependency. It actually unburdens you from a chemical dependency."
