Made the choice to look for bluer pastures and pop over to 🦋. It's impossible to sift through what twitter has become to reach other writers. As soon as I do, my post just get buried. Anyone who follows me that is interested, my add is: rjlongbottom.bsky.social See you there 🙌

AI art sucks. If you're an artist feel free to promote your work in the replies to this tweet so more people can find each other.

One of the greatest episodes of television ever and I’m not exaggerating.

For what it’s worth, being kind and genuine and loving when so much of this world seems to thrive on hatred and cruelty and exclusion is far braver and courageous than joining in.

Why is the @duolingo bird so...menacing? I'm trying to casually learn a language, man, back off. Stop looking at me like I just let k!lled your entire family and you're thirsty for pecking revenge if I don't get my lesson in for the day???

Feast your eyes on my pretty boy Envoy in #Avowed by @Obsidian lol Finished the game yesterday. It was brill! Reminiscent of games I love like Fable. If not for the faux-rage about it being "woke", this game would have flown under the radar Can't wait to play through again 😀

Any Doctors/Nurses/First Responders on here that could offer advice when writing medical scenes?

E.g. I have a teen character who has been stabbed and made it to A+E. He's bleeding out and in really bad condition, and will die. What procedure would my medical character need to follow? (I've never written medical stuff before 🙃)

Anyone else write dialogue first? Just started doing it. It's helped improve writing/reading flow 💪 #writing #WritingCommunity

Is there and zero tolerance AI sites I can post stories/fanfics on? Everywhere I look people are using AI to scrape writers' works. I'm scared to post in case its stolen/passed off as someone else's #WritingCommmunity

I've managed to write 10k words in 5 days! It's not massive but I've been stagnant for aaaages Feels like the #WritingCommunity is finally working again. I've lost lots of followers (which I suspect were bots) and managed to follow more actual writers who support each other 💪

Can’t quite believe this… thank you for all the love, apologies if I haven’t replied to you. This hasn’t happened before. Hello and welcome to all new followers to my rather sedate timeline of crafts, gardening and homey things. It’s not usually this exciting!! 😂
