Reviews:
“This is one jewel of a book, a real treasure, and I have been recommending it to everyone I know. For anyone who wants to learn what near-death experiences are all about, this is the book for you.”
— Renowned near-death experience researcher Kenneth Ring, Ph.D., author of many prominent NDE books including Lessons from the Light
…….
“I have studied human consciousness, science, NDEs, etc. for more than 30 years including research papers, and literally hundreds of books. Throughout all the research, bits and pieces, I always asked myself, ‘But what is it all about? What knowledge did these NDErs bring back about the world? Who we are? Why we suffer? What the other side is like?’
“This book answered ALL my questions. It provides personal and profound insights from people who have experienced it all first hand — and they give the answers to life’s questions and what awaits us in their own words and as best as they can.
“As someone who has studied the anecdotal and veridical NDEs, neuroscience, quantum physics from Penrose, Greyson, Van Lommel, Hameroff, Kaku and many others, this book is a MUST if you have always wanted to know.
“As you read through the book, you will realize that no one could ever make this stuff up. The profundity is overwhelming both spiritually and from an informational viewpoint.
“The NDEs dovetail so beautifully with the science we have to this point, that you will find yourself saying ‘Ah Ha!’ more times than you can imagine.”
— Frank J. Monteleone
…….
“I have been reading books about near-death experiences since 1975, when ‘Life After Life’ by Raymond A. Moody, Jr., M.D., Ph.D., was first published. In fact, I have read far more than 100 NDE books since then, and heard many other firsthand NDE accounts in person and on the telephone. I believe ‘The Purpose of Life’ by David Sunfellow is one of the two finest NDE books that have been written. The other one is ‘Lessons From The Light’ by Kenneth Ring, Ph.D. Both books are very spiritual in their message, very clear, and very easy to read and understand. Both books provided me with many new insights and inspired me to transcend my current beliefs. ‘The Purpose of Life’ is a book you will want to read and reread as your spirituality matures and you seek ever deeper wisdom. I believe every IANDS Chapter, every bereavement support group, and every personal growth institution will want to have at least one copy of ‘The Purpose of Life’ in their lending library.”
— Best-selling author Bill Guggenheim, coauthor of Hello from Heaven
…….
“As a near-death experiencer myself, and as a researcher who has spent the last 40+ years studying the aftereffects of the near-death experiencer, this new book dispenses the-best-of-the-best wisdom we have gleaned from ‘crossing the veil’ and returning. I and the hundreds of others I and my colleagues have interviewed, struggle to find words to begin to describe something indescribable. This author has taken the best quotes from the most articulate experiencers and organized them into an easily understandable collection of what is really quite ineffable. This is an amazing contribution. I highly recommend this book! It stands out from the growing collection of books in this genre because it gets to the heart of the matter! It has taken on and brought us the Soul of the NDE. And the author doesn’t hide from the dark places. This book brings it all together.”
— Near-death experiencer and researcher, Barbara Harris Whitfield, author of Spiritual Awakenings: Insights of the Near-Death Experience and Other Doorways to Our Soul
…….
“This book is not only well worth the read, absorbing its psycho-spiritual information may be the closest thing to having a near-death experience without going through the risk and pain. Thank you David for synthesizing all these great life-changing experiences!”
— Charles Whitfield, M.D., physician, psychotherapist, and author of the best-selling book Healing the Child Within: Discovery and Recovery for Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families
…….
“I finally had a chance to dive deep into the book and website. WOW. What a masterpiece! It’s gorgeous! You have created something so comprehensive and beautiful in spirit. Bravo!”
— Lisa Smartt, author of Words at the Threshold, Veil, and Cante Bardo, founder, The Final Words Project, co-founder, The University of Heaven
…….
“Most if not all of the best scholarly and experiential NDE/STE literature sits on my shelf well read. I learned about your two quote books only a few months ago, coincidentally while reading something by Ken Ring. I’ve subsequently given 20 copies of Purpose Of Life to members of a local NDE study group, and several of them then bought 500 Quotes. Both books are quite well received here. In my estimation your books’ unique spotlight on experiencer quotes provides one of the most meaningful advances in perspective since [Raymond] Moody started it all. I think your books represent a major advance in this entire field of inquiry, because so very much is still being written about the HOW/WHAT and so little on the all-important WHY.”
— Don Coffey
…….
“David, I loved your book! Really! In fact, I posted a review of it on Amazon as well as on my Facebook page. I hope it helps to get your book noticed and read. On another note, I found myself so many times saying, ‘yes, yes, of course, this is what I also experienced.’ So for me personally, it was as if I was taking another journey into The Light. So beautifully put together, so loving, so relevant to what our message for humanity is all about. You did an outstanding job with it. I love the simplicity of it. Thank you for putting it out and into the world so people can be reminded that it is ALL about LOVE!”
— Near-death experiencer, speaker and author Nancy Clark
…….
“I read this book and was so blown away at times that I actually couldn’t just read it through. I had to stop and come back later when I was ready. It is a rich read, and far richer than it appears to be. This is a book that cannot be judged by its sweet, tastefully done cover. The author is obviously very well versed, an expert, when it comes to near-death experiences. He also stops short of adding too much of his own opinions, rather he allows the words of experiencers stand on their own, which I deeply appreciate.
“The wisdom in this book, and the uplift that the words of these experiencers provides to the reader, are worth their weight in GOLD. The book will comfort you, uplift you, increase your faith in the Divine, and will leave you feeling deeply nourished in a very WHOLE-istic way.
“This turned out to be one of the best books on this subject that I have read, and I have read A LOT of them… Research into NDEs is my life’s mission. I would recommend it to both newbies and those like me who have been immersed in the subject matter for many years. Fantastic!”
— BA via Amazon
…….
“As a near-death experiencer myself, and having read many books on the subject and heard many first hand accounts from other NDErs, I have to say this is THE BEST compilation of NDEs encompassing the essence and most important messages of the experience. I read the first book twice and gave some copies to friends. I’m sure I’ll do the same with this one. This is the only book I’ve ever read more than once and I think I will keep rereading it many more times. It’s the ultimate feel-good book to read before sleep. I just can’t say enough good about it. I wish everyone in the world could read it!!!”
— Patricia Danz
…….
“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE this book!! The first night I opened it up I could not put it down and easily read up to page 104. The next evening I finished it. Although this subject is not foreign to me in that I’ve read NDE stories before, this book offers up an assortment of compelling, truly awesome encounters from many folks who have passed. Even more interesting are the few important common threads that tie all of these stories together with a common message from people who do not know each other. On a personal note, I found that this book gave me a sense of peace and also in many ways confirmed my own beliefs about what we are here to do on this earth plane and what is truly important. I HIGHLY recommend David Sunfellow’s extraordinary book. I LOVED It and plan on purchasing several copies for my friend and family for the holidays. Thank you David!”

I lean less alarmist than many in the catastrophism + pole shift communities, or perhaps I should say I consider the cataclysm less imminent than most. But if I were to point to one thing I do find unsettling, it is the growth of the SAA from over the mid-atlantic ridge. It has been growing 'from' Np' since about the year 1300 AD, as I hope to detail in an article at some point next month. The growth in the west cannot be explained via that source alone.

Plato's View Of Cyclical Cataclysms
According to @GROK, the quotes below collectively illustrate Plato's view of cyclical cataclysms -- often floods or fires -- that periodically devastate humanity, reducing civilization to a primitive state. Survivors, typically uneducated and isolated, must rebuild, losing much of the knowledge and culture of their predecessors. This idea aligns with ancient Greek and broader Mediterranean myths about cosmic cycles and great deluges.
.....
From Timaeus (22c-e). Here, the Egyptian priest speaking to Solon describes periodic cataclysms (fire and flood) that destroy civilizations, leaving only a few survivors, often in remote areas, to restart society.
"There have been, and will be again, many destructions of mankind arising out of many causes; the greatest have been brought about by the agencies of fire and water, and other lesser ones by innumerable other causes. ... When the gods purge the earth with a deluge of water, the survivors in your country are herdsmen and shepherds who dwell on the mountains, but those who, like you, live in cities are carried by the rivers into the sea."
.....
From Timaeus (23a-b). The priest explains that humanity has faced multiple deluges, and each time, civilization is nearly wiped out, with only a remnant surviving to rebuild.
"You remember only one deluge, though there have been many; and you do not know that the finest and best race of men that ever existed lived in your country, and that you and your whole city are descended from a small seed of their survivors."
.....
From Critias (109d-e). This passage reinforces the idea of periodic destruction that resets civilization, erasing knowledge and forcing survivors to start anew.
"At long intervals, when the stream from heaven, like a pestilence, comes pouring down, and leaves only those of you who are destitute of letters and education; and so you have to begin all over again like children, and know nothing of what happened in ancient times."
.....
From Laws (Book III, 677a-b). In this dialogue, the Athenian Stranger discusses a great flood that destroyed most of humanity, leaving behind a few survivors who lacked the cultural and intellectual advancements of prior civilizations, leading to a restart of society.
"Do we believe that there was once a total destruction of human life by flood, with only a small remnant surviving? ... And that those who survived were, for the most part, unlettered mountain-dwellers, with little knowledge of the arts?"

TODAY IN BRIEF
In today's Space Weather News Report, Ben Davidson @SunWeatherMan highlighted a new study that tracks geomagnetic jerks over 125 years; he said it shows the field's sudden accelerations growing from sparse, moderate events to stronger and more widespread ones, concentrated over the South Atlantic and West Pacific anomalies. Davidson also tied this season's large southern ozone hole to Earth's weakening field and discussed a new paper linking solar storms to global death rates. A magnitude 6.9 earthquake struck offshore Vanuatu, bringing this week's count of magnitude 6 or larger quakes to five, above the average of about three. The Sun stayed quiet, but a glancing CME blow and a coronal hole stream could bring active conditions and a chance of a G1 storm on Oct. 25. Craig Stone @nobulart quoted an account that geophysicist John Baumgardner studied the Durupinar site, claimed by some as Noah's Ark, in 1987 and 1988 and concluded its boat-like shape was natural, formed by a lava flow. Stone also shared a passage arguing that stories act as cultural storage, carrying knowledge through images for far more generations than plain ideas could. David Sunfellow @sunfellow shared his list of the most credible and active pole-shift accounts on X and explained how to set up a Grok agent to summarize their posts, replies and reposts each day. Sunfellow also posted a clip from Roger Cunningham's @EthicalSkeptic DemystifySci @demystifysci interview in which Cunningham names three places he believes were survival refuges during an ECDO-style event, two of them at what he identifies as Earth's Euler axis points. This was one of several clips from Cunningham's recent DemystifySci interview, five of which can now be watched on Pole Shift News. Megalithic Mysteries @Megalithic12000 writes that Sacsayhuamán has documented chambers and passages below ground, but almost none of it has been surveyed, mapped or opened...

Yes. As Saint Paul knowingly said:

It may seem like an exaggeration to say that Elon Musk is shoring up Western Civilization, but I don't think it is.
In a nutshell, Western Civilization is built on freedom, with free speech in particular as its bedrock. If that liberty "means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear," to quote George Orwell.
Now remember back just a few years ago, before Elon bought Twitter. All major social media companies had bowed to government and activist pressure to heavily censor any right leaning speech that the left didn't like. Woke madness, cancel culture, and DEI were all at their height.
Then in steps Elon and buys Twitter. Amidst predictions that it would be the end of the company, Elon forged it into the only place where you could actually find out the truth. More importantly, where you could speak the truth without fear of having your account suspended.
What's occurred in the relatively short time since has been nothing short of magnificent. X has become a truely global town square where people can actually speak. Where you can bypass the legacy media and find out what's actually happening, and where you can criticize and resist the forces trying to turn freedom into totalitarianism.
Of course, many governments still go after their citizens for what they post here, Britain being the worst offender in the so called free world. But we hear about it, instead of it being swept under the rug. And knowing the truth is the first step towards saving the West.
To say that I'm worried so much rests on one man is an understatement. In many ways, the future of the West has never been so fragile. But I hope that what Elon has built, and continues building is robust enough that it can carry on regardless. God bless Elon Musk!

Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

This could offer a key metric for comparing ECDO and my model
Working on a new test of the Dzhanibekov part of ECDO.
Earth currently spins near its maximum inertia axis, C, so it’s stable. A Dzhanibekov instability requires the spin to approach the intermediate axis.
So, how much mass redistribution would be required to change the inertia tensor enough to make that happen?
I’m using the same tomography models and LLSVP geometry from my preferred axis work.
Replying to @sunfellow @Kitsune_in_VA
Plain summary: Early studies found major quakes tracking sunspots, proposing solar electrical currents that stress and shift the crust. Later work tied the magnetic field to weather and pre-quake rock changes, plus galactic orbit to field reversals.
This supports EDC via solar/galactic triggers for cyclic magnetic and crustal disasters, and ECDO via magnetic variations enabling core-mantle decoupling and polar reorientation.
