CO pollutants from the widespread wildfires in Indonesia are being pulled into the circulation of Typhoon Champi.
Singapore-based company Amigoz, according to @USTreasury, has been associated with “a range of dark fleet actors,” including some affiliated with companies controlled by Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, as well as providing bunkering services to Iran shadow fleet vessel ZIXUAN (IMO 9317298).
ZIXUAN (9317298) was identified by @UANI and added to the #GhostArmada list in May 2026, prior to sanctioning by OFAC this month.

Iran has depleted millions of barrels of oil stored aboard tankers in Asian waters after a months-long US naval blockade prevented Tehran from replenishing supplies normally sold to China, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday, citing analysts at Kpler.
The floating reserves, which had provided Iran with a steady source of revenue during the war, were fully depleted by mid-October, according to the report.
“There’s no more oil to discharge to China anymore,” Homayoun Falakshahi, head of crude oil analysis at Kpler, told the Journal.
US Central Command said Saturday that the blockade had denied Tehran at least $25 billion in oil revenue and would constrain its ability to replace destroyed factories and weapons.
“US actions have imposed devastating costs on Iran’s security apparatus,” Admiral Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command, said.

1/ SUSPICIOUS VESSEL IN KEELUNG HARBOR, 🇹🇼#TAIWAN.
SeaLight has been tracking the cargo ship NEPTUNE for months based on its weird behavior: a flag-switching cargo ship that seldom visits ports but frequently encounters other suspicious ships off the coast.
It is now tied up in 🇹🇼Keelung Harbor, where its port paperwork says it just came from 🇭🇰#HongKong, even though its own Automatic Identification System (AIS) transponder's tracking signal says it was never there.
Tracking from @StarboardIntel shows NEPTUNE has spent the past 14 months just loitering around Taiwan's coasts: drifting offshore for weeks at a time, occasionally encountering other vessels & not calling at a single port outside Taiwan.
The closest it came to Hong Kong in that time was about 490 km. In fact, its entire AIS history shows zero visits to Hong Kong.
It currently flies the flag of Comoros, a registry the European Maritime Safety Agency rates "very high risk." It has already switched flags from Tanzania, not long after Taiwan itself announced it was scrutinizing that country's registered ships.
So what has this ship actually been doing? [🧵1/5]
(Attached: Current location of the NEPTUNE in Keelung Harbor from @StarboardIntel, plus last known photo of the same ship from July 2022, when it was NEPTUNE1)

➡️The upcoming IMO Council Meeting 138th session on 2-6 NOV 2026 will discuss agenda item 11: Protection of Vital Shipping Lanes.
Here is what the IMO has been doing:
"The Secretariat continues to closely monitor ongoing conflicts that impact vital shipping lanes and provides accurate and reliable reporting for Member States and industry to facilitate appropriate risk management activities. Additionally, the Organization has worked closely with intergovernmental organizations (IGOs), including other United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including industry associations, to highlight the risks facing seafarers and international shipping."

📺Sadly, this IMO event and the discussion is likely to get totally lost in the news about the US election.🤔

Boats were filmed gathering floating cargo from the Singapore-flagged GFS Pride after it sank in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday, scattering containers and debris off Oman’s coast. Singapore’s maritime authority said the ship caught fire and sank after being hit by “unknown projectiles,” with all 21 crew rescued. The IRGC Navy said a “violating” container ship had struck a naval mine while using an “unauthorized” route — without naming the vessel.

Ship attacks & incidents in the Strait of Hormuz and surrounding waterways between Oct 10 and Oct 13: At least 10 ship attacks occurred during this short period. Overall more than 20 ship attacks & incidents have been recorded so far this month.
We have added and updated many entries using different sources. All the details are in the @WashInstitute interactive map which tracks maritime attacks in the MENA region since 2017.

The video below shows you some of the attacks that took place recently and how to search for them.
