& the problem with 90% of ao3 criticism is that it comes from people who 1)don't know what they're talking about 2)don't care to listen to anyone who does, and 3)seemingly forget how to read every time someone shares any data or resources that might address said criticism
it shouldn’t be a priority or worry to give an author who’s fic you finished and liked a simple kudos or comment…..do you people seriously not hear how you sound

ok this blow up this was only for my 30 followers !!
half of the answers is like the pancakes and waffles conversation pls dont put words on my mouth i do think we should give authors a feedback i just dont think that should be the priority or even a worry

ao3 being “used like telegram” I’m crying what planet are yall from there’s no way yall r real ppl
I hate to be that person, but seriously, think of how many kids right now are being saved. Have we forgotten that ACTUALLY predators use ao3 to communicate??? The same way they use telegram??? The website being down is a good thing.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
AO3 is a fanfiction repository without private messaging or chat features, unlike Telegram. The downtime is due to a security incident. techcrunch.com/2026/10/29/fan… 404media.co/archive-of-our…
