I lived through Yeltsin, and Trump's behavior mirrors him so precisely it's disturbing. The same clownish performance. The same promises. The same destruction of a country while the leader talks nonsense and dances. Dear Americans, good luck.

Today, HR/VP @kajakallas addressed the @Europarl_EN plenary on the escalation of Russian strikes in the EU, particularly attacks affecting Black Sea shipping routes. She stressed that diplomatic engagement must go hand in hand with sustained pressure on Moscow and continued support for Ukraine. Read the full speech here: link.europa.eu/FNYtgd

Hayek was a midwit snake-oil salesman of the first order. Put simply, the legally established negative liberty he champions permits the unequal ability of uncoerced individuals to achieve a very narrow and often unethically gained type of success in his ridiculously idealised 'market'. Then they monopolise market sectors and buy their way into power to exploit and coerce others. Result - the constant renewal and reproduction of the 1% revolving-door oligarchy. Tent cities getting bigger but GDP looks good and we've got AI! Hordes of unthinking wannabe strivers have been persuaded that this is the timeless moral and natural order of things.
“In order to make people equal, you have to treat them differently. If you treat people alike, the result is necessarily inequality.” — F. A. Hayek

Greece, the "cradle" of Western civilization, transformed into a pawn of the Pax Americana: what a civilizational leap!
The conservative New Democracy (ND) government in Athens is integrating Greece ever more deeply into Washington’s drive to war from the Eastern Mediterranean to Iran and Ukraine.

Times of Monsters and Empires My presentation (+ Q&A) from the Kyoto Symposium 2026 ("Geopolitics in the Time of Monsters") is now up on Neutrality Studies. Gramsci’s famous line, often paraphrased—“the old is dying and the new cannot be born”—is almost universally read today as a comforting prophecy of imperial collapse, followed by a new and more peaceful dawn. In my talk in Kyoto, I argued that we need to read the rest of the passage in Prison Notebooks § 34: Gramsci’s quote is embedded in questions and more; he was asking what happens when a ruling class loses consensus, turns to force to repeatedly obstruct the birth of the new, and forges a "new combination" of rule. We tend to misread the current intensification of violence as solely terminal decline because of an epistemic lag. In other words, we measure the present against the anomaly of the Cold War, when organized counterpower forced historical restraints onto capitalism. As historian Heide Gerstenberger showed, capitalism was never inherently peaceful; remove the counterpower, and the system returns to its violent baseline. Further, the loss of belief in the ruling class's old ideologies is not yet a loss of governability. In such an interregnum, instead of collapsing, the US-led transatlantic core is adapting toward a low-consent equilibrium in that which Gramsci calls the “new combination”: The Multilayered Cage: An interconnected financial, technological, logistical, elite socialization, knowledge, and military architecture designed to manage multipolarity by preventing dispersed capacities from consolidating into an autonomous project. The Bunker State: A qualitative transformation of the state in which civilian planning and public provision are subordinated to hybrid warfare and austerity, reclassifying citizens from subjects of rights into objects, assets, or vulnerabilities in security management. The second half of the video features a 25-minute Q&A with the panel and audience, where we talked about: - Why political desires to break from NATO run into the hard wall of software, technological, and command-structure lock-in and dependencies. - Whether European elites actually believe in the mirage of "military Keynesianism." - Why states cannot dismantle an empire’s house while adopting its militarized language—and why even reframing "Artificial Intelligence" as "Collective Intelligence" is part of reclaiming our extracted knowledge to build a shared political horizon and organized hope. 🎥 Watch the full talk and Q&A here: youtu.be/-6VIQpdcNsA (I will be publishing the polished written text of this lecture alongside my visual slide deck for paid subscribers later this week).

#Masiosare

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 Elon Musk's Non-Opposition to US War on Russia in Ukraine ▪️SpaceX founder Elon Musk is pretending to oppose war in Ukraine and claims Starlink is not to be used offensively but has himself admitted Starshield IS for use offensively and IS being used against Russia offensively! ▪️In other words Musk/SpaceX who created and maintain Starsheild are directly involved in the war in Ukraine while pretending to oppose it, and confirms just how crucial and absolute US involvement is in the war, simply laundered through Ukraine as Musk himself admits Starsheild is ultimately controlled by the US military, not simply a service Ukraine also has access to; ▪️Again, Starsheild is controlled by the US military but built and maintained by SpaceX, not the US military, which means Musk himself is directly involved not only in the war in Ukraine, but SPECIFICALLY in strikes on Russian territory - does Musk just hope no one notices?; ▪️Stop falling for the theater and listen to what is actually being said and done. Both Starlink and Starsheild rely entirely on Musk's SpaceX for continuous operation including launches to maintain or expand constellation capabilities, software updates, maintaining the orbits of actual satellites, etc - it's not like the US military "bought" and runs Starsheild independently of SpaceX. Pretending to deny Ukraine Starlink while claiming the US military's use of Starsheild against Russia doesn't involve SpaceX is not some sort of principled position, it's simply another lie and another example of corporations distracting attention away from themselves and onto puppet politicians and proxies.

US Big Tech corporations are spending a staggering $1 trillion this year, or 3% of GDP, on AI capital expenditure (capex), largely for data centers. China's tech companies are spending $123 billion on AI apex, which is just 0.6% of GDP. But China's AI models perform just as well as US models -- and China's are open-source and much cheaper, and are thus becoming more popular around the world. Keep in mind that China has 4 times the US population, but is spending 1/10th of what the US is spending on AI capex. It is obvious that US AI capex is way, way too high, and represents extreme malinvestment. This is because the US AI sector is in an enormous bubble.
Looking at these two graphic images, I can’t help but think of the tale of “The Tortoise and The Hare” when it comes to the race between China and the US to dominate AI. The US is still ahead, helped by its strong compute capabilities (ie access to all the chips it needs) and near-limitless access to capital. But Chinese models have been constantly tugging at their heels using a fraction of the spending. Growing worries about the ability of today’s AI capex to generate meaningful returns might result in delays in US models that allow their Chinese peers to overtake them in the final innings of the game. #OpenAI #Anthropic #Kimi #Qwen4 $BABA $SPCX $GOOGL $META $NVDA

The bankster criminal syndicate doesn't miss any opportunity to profit from mass death and mass destruction, while at the same time resorting to all means to demonize, dehumanize, and eradicate any and all political, socioeconomic, and cultural movements or governments...
In 1932 Hitler’s party was elected in Germany. Within weeks the newly founded Bank for International Settlements in Basel was arranging a Wall Street syndicated loan for $125 million to reindustrialise and rearm Germany for the next war against Russia. The loan was renewed at term. In 1934 FDR made all ownership of monetary gold a criminal offence and expropriated all the gold reserves of citizens, corporations, and the Federal Reserve Banks to the US Treasury at $35 an ounce. If I received a letter like this I would urgently start exploring protecting my wealth OUTSIDE the United Kingdom and relocating military eligible youths to universities abroad as they neared draft age.
