Lucky to see Finkbine yesterday. Iowa golf is getting a big boost. North end of the property was the biggest surprise. Going to be a great walk. Going to be one of the best in the state. @HoffmanSl Keep building them.

Washington County in Hartford, WI. Down the road from Erin Hills. and course was outstanding for $30 walking.
18 and our par 5s in general are the biggest upgrade in my opinion. Tee ball now allows for more room for the conservative shot. Shifted the green back to add a little length but layup will need thought depending on where pin is.
10/1, we fully shut down and work is coming together. Hole 15 is much improved. Lowered the green 3 feet, shifted green to the right, new bunker and new green complex. Team has been putting in long hrs. @levifloming @SuperTimG132 @_BenNichols_
Walk around DCC this afternoon. Place is ready to host state. 6th green is one of my favs in the area. I think it’s the best on the course. Blue bird day.
Happy hour with Mr. Dye. Rare to get Straits with wind down and had 20 mph gusts today. Pure fun. Shot making required. Harbour Town is my fav Dye but man Whistling is great.
I’m convinced some of the best land for a golf course in Iowa is in the Waukon area. Gives me Lost Rail vibes @HoffmanSl
Erin Hills. My 5th time seeing it and I’m more in love every time. Standing on 15 green is therapy stuff for me. I think about 12 more than anyone should think about a golf hole but it’s just awesome. Wisconsin is spoiled.

Someone find a stat for fouls called against Purdue when they are home versus the visitors. It’s gross.

Mapleton. Didn’t catch it on a great day but greens were still quick and course was a blast. U of Iowa will be a force once it’s done. Haven’t had that much fun hitting irons since Meadow Club.
