Invest 95E is struggling this afternoon.
The storm's low level center is now completely exposed and removed from the most intense thunderstorm activity.
It is also tracking northeast of the forecast. Until the true center can be established, we do not know where 95E will go.

A bold new approach to leading the Federal Wildland Fire Mission. Our world has changed, it’s been changing for decades. The Wildland fire problem of today demands that the entire system be aligned to be the most efficient and most capable wildland fire system the American people deserve. A long road to escalate landscape level risk reduction and more robust response capabilities. This will require the best led, best equipped and best trained Wildland firefighters from top to bottom. Chief Fennessy understands that. 🇺🇸🔥

The entire nation is mourning the loss of these brave wildland firefighters. May God bless their souls, and may their families, friends, and fellow firefighters find strength and comfort during this unimaginable time.
The U.S. Wildland Fire Service is devastated to share that three wildland firefighters lost their lives on Saturday, June 27, as part of an interagency response to the Knowles and Gore fires along the Colorado-Utah border. Additionally, two crew members were injured in the line of duty and have been transported to a hospital.
Our immediate focus is on supporting their families, friends, and fellow crewmates during this incredibly difficult time.
The U.S. Wildland Fire Service stands united with the USDA Forest Service in grief and in our unwavering support for the loved ones left behind. Their bravery, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Additional details will be shared as they are able to be released.

Great job capturing the tremendous work our great public servants do out at the @forestservice Fox Fire Center. They were busy from first thing this morning and all through the day until sunset. Supporting fires in Kern, Ventura, San Bernardino, and LA Counties today. @SoCalUSFS_Fire @Angeles_NF
Today several CAL FIRE S2Ts utilized Fox Field Air Tanker Base in response to the #woodfire, #riverfire, and #sandyfire. I love the speed and maneuverability of the S2Ts, a lot of fun to watch. Great response time to all the fires in SoCal. Here they are departing and arriving Fox Field where a team of incredible people keep the pilots and aircraft taken care of!

Fantastic. This is interagency cooperation at its finest. You can have all the Zoom meetings and conference calls you want, but if you don’t truly know your battle buddies on a personal level and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses you’re already behind in battle.
I had the privilege to step away from the important day to day responsibilities to spend time with the ANF/LAC team in Tucson AZ at the Wildfire Aviation Staff Ride. The opportunity that this kind of learning provides is truly humbling. Leaders are readers and leaders never stop learning and training.

My son Ryan (L) finished in sub 4. Good kids doing great things.
They are rucking 18.6 miles.
They are carrying at least 25 pounds on their backs.
It’s 31°F and the temperature is still dropping.
And they do it all because of their love for their country and their Constitution.
God bless them. @WestPoint_USMA 🫡
I'm looking to buy a place out there if they are selling out.
