the funny part of this and other math problems is that we don't see them in real life because the actual universe is less structured at our scale and/or dimensional. It does feel that many math problems have outgrown the scale of real life. Do we see these configurations at the micro scale? Going back to playing chess tbh.

i don't know if the world realizes that Archil is TWICE AS FAST as s3 express one zone for WAL writes (4kb-ish)
combined with the fact that Archil has **regional** durability (so you don't need to worry about storing multiple copies) and automatically tiers to s3, it also ends up being cheaper/simpler than s3 express one zone
we're not happy with 2.7ms and are talking about ways to drive this closer to 1.3ms (the cost of 1 cross-AZ round-trip) over the coming months
archil is becoming a no-brainer for building the next generation of transactional workloads
