Incredibly excited to join @sternhenri @segall_max and the team at @stripe @privy_io to lead the next phase of growth for our stablecoin card business. Stablecoins have already found real utility as a global store of value and payments medium. Cards are helping unlock the next step, making those balances instantly spendable in everyday life, anywhere cards are accepted. We’re bringing the same Stripe issuing infrastructure that powers leading fintechs like Ramp, Rippling and Navan to stablecoin businesses around the world. If you’re building in stablecoins, fintech or global payments and want to learn more about what we’re building, please reach out.

With Privy and Stripe Issuing, fintechs can launch stablecoin card programs in weeks, not months. Prebuilt components simplify onboarding, card management, and spending directly from stablecoin balances.
Artisan (@UseArtisan) went live in weeks with stablecoin-backed cards* using Privy’s prebuilt components and @stripe Issuing. Launching a card program* has traditionally meant managing onboarding, KYC, fraud tooling, support, and bank approval across multiple vendors. Privy’s prebuilt components bring that experience together, with pre-approved UI for onboarding, card creation, transaction history, and card management embedded directly into your product. With Privy and Stripe Issuing, teams get: ✔️ Prebuilt components that streamline approval + launch ✔️ End-user support, fraud tooling, and pre-approved fund flows ✔️ Just-in-time funding directly from wallet balances This means users can set up a card in a few taps and spend their stablecoin balance wherever Visa is accepted.* Get started: privy.io/contact?utm_source=…

GTE is now live to VIP Cohort 1. We hand selected 10 individuals to be let onto the platform first. They're going to be working with us to ensure that the product is up to their requirements as we work to create the best trading app, ever. What this means for this account: • GTE will be transitioning this X account to be more active, posting daily, starting tomorrow. • We will be contextualizing the world in terms of what is happening and what you can be trading on GTE as a response to that. Think similar to your favorite financial and tech news accounts. • This account will also be used for GTE product updates and general community updates. If we find that we need a more direct way to communicate larger updates, we will introduce another account or another medium. What this means for you: • As the product progresses, we will be onboarding more and more cohorts, starting by your rank on the waiting list (Platinum + Echo investors first). With over 290k+ individuals on the waitlist, we imagine that we will increase users onboarded batch by batch. If you are not immediately onboarded, please be patient, as it will be your turn soon. • Engaging with high quality responses across our social media (X, Instagram) is highly encouraged. We hope to make the GTE accounts across all social media platforms your number one destination to find high quality information before anywhere else alongside a very clear actionable way to turn that news into a trade idea. We expect this to get better as we get more data and reps in and are very excited to turn our community into some of the loudest voices across the worlds of Finance, Technology, and everything between. The only that matters is the community that we build here at GTE. Thank you for your support the past 2 years. Let's win. Together. LFGTE.

MAYBE I WAS WRONG ABOUT BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY I wrote about how I always used to make fun of the guys who said things like "Bitcoin is speculative, but the underlying blockchain technology is interesting." And now I think maybe they kinda had a point.

1/ Privy lets developers give AI agents stablecoin wallets to hold funds and pay as they work. But not all agent wallets work the same way. With @link Agent Wallet and @stripe Issuing, agents can also spend using saved cards or stablecoin-backed cards.

Because a GW costs 60 yards
Increasingly think the Anthropic IPO does not get done. Why are they rushing to borrow at double digit yields if they are about to have $1.5 trillion of equity market value and raise $100bn?

I hate my competitors so much. I will respect them and treat them well. But I really despise them. Everyone has always told me to celebrate a competitor’s success. I just don’t get it. I want them to fail so badly and for me to succeed so badly. Every time I see a competitor’s success, I go to sleep an hour later and wake up an hour earlier. I don’t get how some very successful people handle it differently.

I’ve found myself detouring back to onchain privacy from a few different angles over the last five years. Here's a few thoughts I wrote yesterday on what’s changed, what I've learned, and what it takes for technically interesting things to become useful :)
