JUST IN: CFTC lists BTC, ETH, SOL, XLM, XTZ and XRP as examples of “digital commodities.” Under the CFTC/SEC taxonomy, digital commodities are generally NOT securities. This could mean less SEC uncertainty, clearer oversight and an easier path for US crypto listings.

You can mint more NFTs. You can create more collections. You can create more supply. But you cannot recreate the exact historical moment in which a particular NFT was created.

That’s the part of scarcity many people miss. Scarcity isn’t necessarily about how few exist. Sometimes, it’s about how many could ever exist in that specific moment in time. And that moment can never happen again.

I'm super bullish, in fact my collection is totally focused in 2021 pre-AI. Art are related to feelings, the most pure human feelings come from not being influenced by IA. Sounds crazy: in fact, for me, the "bullrun" on NFTs on Tezos never happened compared with what is coming.

Overall, I am less bullish that there will be a mass awakening to pre-AI NFTs. But that doesn’t make me less bullish on these NFTs over time. I simply believe that it won’t take that many collectors with money and interest to make a market. But that it will always be niche.

A note for future generations: we used to code on dozens of lines at once. We'd use multi-cursor shortcuts to jump across matching structures and paste entire lists into those lines in a single shot. 💀
