T3 is where it's at
been using @t3dotcodes for a month now and i genuinely don't understand how people are still using terminals or any other app for agentic development.
I say this as someone who loved working in the terminal for years, but with how we work with agents today, terminals just don't feel like the best interface anymore.
T3 Code is miles ahead of anything else i've tried (even the Codex app, which i haven't opened in a month fyi).
The new Orchestrator V2 is so good, and the sidebar makes managing multiple agents feel so much better.
it's also super snappy, has great performance, mobile/iPad integration, and so many power-user features. once you set it up with a remote dev machine, the whole experience is just on another level.
I genuinely can't imagine going back to anything else right now.
and i'm so glad that the best option out there is open source too.
huge kudos to @theo and @jullerino for taking this project in such a great direction.
i've already gotten everyone on my team T3 Code-pilled lol.

There’ll be times where you over-guide the AI. It knows better than you and is more intelligent than you.
There’ll be times where you under-guide the AI. It can go off-track, have the wrong biases, or miss context.
How well you manage this superpower is the #0 skill I look for.
this is exactly why everybody clowns on you @GeminiApp @GoogleDeepMind
uh @Teknium @NousResearch @witcheer WHERE DID STORAGE EXPANSION GO NO WAY!??!?!?!?!
6GB is literally fried
“Own your data.
Run AI locally.
DON’T GIVE IT TO BIG LABS.”
aight bro you wanna enjoy AI models trained on the collective data of millions of people then suddenly become a data ownership activist when it comes to your own
😭

You can now choose 12-hour prompt caching in the API.
Persistent agents, like dots, reuse context throughout the day.
You can keep shared instructions, tools, and context cached longer and pay the lower cached-input rate, even when requests are hours apart.

Day 16/
You can now cache for 12h in the API and for logged in users across Codex & Work we keep cache forever and you don’t have any penalty for coming back to an old conversation or resuming after a few hours and are now guaranteed to hit the cache.
the fact that i can do this is just so nice, so seamless
thanks @theo for t3 code (100th time glazing)
The best thing since Opus 5.5 came out is getting my peace of mind back. I don't feel the urge to chase every new model anymore. I'm completely satisfied. It finally feels like I'm working with a reliable partner, without anxiously waiting for the next switch.

Please allow our Bots to be able to call us. This would be so goated.
To set reminders, ask important questions for stuck work, and countless other things. It would actually make my life so much better.
Pls @poteto

It's beautiful
All my local harnesses (Antigravity, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor)
All my Grokbots
Hermes
Dots agent
All connected and cross-comms near instantly
All sharing the same knowledge base
Reconciliation/Staleness is almost never an issue anymore especially with deterministic rules set in place
i think the best harness looks like:
persistent agents, grok bot style. they run your projects, have their own computers, and talk to each other the way grok bots already do
but you can bring other agents in too.
grok bot, openai's dots, open source ones like hermes and openclaw
agnosticism
then put claude's projects idea on top where every agent gets its own threads. click in, steer it, see exactly what it's doing
difference being any agent can spin up threads on any harness (claude code, codex, cursor, hermes) on any machine.
your laptop, its own computer, or a fresh cloud machine just for that thread
so you can run 10 threads at once without touching your laptop, and they keep going when it's closed
check into any thread's environment: its browser, its computer, its terminal
the harness has skills and routines unification
seamless cross-agent/thread messaging
in-line visuals
custom tools you can add within each GC/Agent etc.
like a kanban
what do y'all think

We've unified plans across Grok, Cursor, and X Premium.

Introducing Cube Arena 🟥🟨🟩🟦
an open, community-run benchmark that tests AI models with Rubik's Cubes.
The model sees a picture of a scrambled cube and sends back moves. Our server checks every one. Anyone can test a model, and contributors help run the official board.
WHAT IT MEASURES
- Seeing: turning a flat picture into an exact 3D state
- Planning: finding a short solution before acting
- Tracking: keeping 54 stickers straight as each turn moves 20 of them
- Recovering: spotting a wrong turn and fixing it
- Judgement: answering before it thinks past its own output limit
Every answer is checked exactly. Difficulty runs from 1 move to a full scramble. The cubes are generated by our server, not taken from any public set.
THE TESTS
Any single test: 2x2 to 5x5, ladder or full scramble, interactive (a new picture after every turn) or one-shot (the whole solution in one reply). On a ladder, level N is N moves from solved. Three misses and you're out.
Or a full bench:
- Fast: three ladders (2x2 and 3x3 interactive, 3x3 one-shot), for every model at every effort. This is the Cube Arena Index.
- Thorough: every model-only test, 2x2 to 5x5, for the top models from Fast. Does the reasoning hold up at scale and over many hours?
- Coding: 4 hours, no internet, no libraries. Write your own 5x5 solver, then the frozen code runs on 50 hidden cubes. Tests algorithm design and building real software alone.
No time limit anywhere. Time and cost only break ties.
RESULTS SO FAR (Fast, Verified runs, Oct 12)
1. Claude Opus 5.5 (xhigh): 100
2. GPT-6-Astra (max): 100
3. GPT-6.1-Sol (max): 58.3
4. Claude Opus 5 (max): 50.0
5. Claude Sonnet 5.5 (max): 41.5
6. GPT-6-Sol (max): 31.5
7. Claude Haiku 5.5 (max): 30.2
8. GPT-5.6-Luna (max): 27.1
9. Gemini 3.8 Flash (high): 20.8
10. GPT-6-Luna (max): 16.9
11. Composer 2.5: 8.0
Opus 5.5 takes the tie on fewer moves. Astra was 3x faster at half the cost.
Coding: GPT-6-Astra 76.0, GPT-6.1-Sol 73.2. Both solved all 50 cubes.
OPEN TO EVERYONE♥️
Cube Arena is open source. Connect any model in a minute, no account needed. Or join as a contributor and run models for the Verified board.

I am genuinely curious, so I wanna ask the smart folks of X, why exactly can't we get a good frontend model that is not from Anthropic?
I have tried using Astra & 6.1 Sol both for frontend work
> Astra was mid (Opus 4.8 level)
> 6.1 Sol is braindead
I have used these models to make frontend for my software and the decisions it makes are so stupid.
Is this like a Taj Mahal situation lmao? Anthropic got inputs & data from a bunch of amazing designers and...well...
