Hey @devonhaskins please quote me on this for the newscast tonight, "You're a bitch & should be the one getting fired." Looking up old Tweets when someone was 15 & reporting on them like it's breaking news is journalistically indefensible. Your entire team should be ashamed.

"Oregon is a much better football program than USC... If you're going to judge Lincoln Riley - If he loses to Washington, bring the battle axe. He loses to Wisconsin or Penn State, bring it on." @colincowherd thinks people are too harsh on Riley for losing to Oregon

Replying to @billoram
@billoram looks like you had to delete that hit piece you had saved in your drafts if the ducks had lost yesterday so I get it focus on the Dante injury to get out of writing anything good that happened yesterday with @oregonfootball we haven’t forgot about all the disrespect the last few weeks but like Dan said “Don’t get back on the bus now!” 🤦🏾‍♂️

Dwight when your team has struggled the way Oregon has through the first two weeks of season, you can afford to take your foot off the gas, You have to finish! This game was about establishing mentality & identity! The standard is to play until the clock hits 0 regardless of what the score is!
The last TD was scored by a guy on his 16th carry. He didn't need it and either did the Ducks. They had all played enough by then

🚨 BREAKING: Lone Lindsay Clancy holdout juror Michael Desronvi, who voluntarily went public, is receiving massive support nationwide after a SMEAR campaign was launched against him by the fake news They're now claiming he REFUSED to look at the evidence and simply thought she was "guilty from the start" Except, THAT'S NOT WHAT HE SAID! Desronvi was clear that his decision is based on all available evidence, and of course, his conscience. The Fake News even tried digging up unproven allegations from his past to discredit him... Look what the DEMOCRATS to do a man like him when he doesn't comply to their preconceived notions! GOD BLESS THIS HERO OF JUSTICE 🙏🏻

This is why nobody takes USC’s fanbase seriously . The few that actually care run their mouths on social Media 24/7 but when it comes time to actually physically show up and support the team, the stadium is empty . Embarrassing. The SC fan base isn’t even real, the LA way

Russell Wilson's first week in Seattle, before he'd played a single NFL snap, he picked up the phone and called Seattle Children's Hospital. The person who answered had no idea who he was. Wilson's own retelling of that call is the best part of this whole story. "Who is this?" "My name's Russell, I just got drafted, I just got here, and I want to be able to come to Seattle Children's on Tuesday." He came. And after that first visit he told the same person he wanted to come back the following Tuesday. And every Tuesday after that. Her response: "Uh, I don't even know if that's allowed." It became allowed. Russell Wilson visited Seattle Children's Hospital every Tuesday for a decade. Not on holidays. Not for photo ops. Every Tuesday during the season, and often in the offseason too when he was in town. Three to six kids each visit. The director of the hospital's Strong Against Cancer program described what it looked like from the inside. When she'd tell the kids a special guest was coming, their eyes would go wide and some would ask, hopefully, if it was Russell Wilson. Her assessment of him: "I would love people to know how truly genuine Russell is and how really, truly amazing he is with our patients and their families. He's not afraid to walk into the room and be with these kids." And a hospital staffer explained why it matters more than an autograph. "What it does for the patient and their family, it can uplift care. Having someone come in like Russell, he's truly making an impact beyond that five minutes he's in a room. That support puts people in better spirits. It can change how they communicate with a nurse. It's not a one-day thing." Here's the one that stays with you. A 16 year old from Everett named Michael Alcayaga was dying of leukemia at Seattle Children's. The day before he died, Wilson and Macklemore spent about an hour in his hospital room. Wilson wrote in the family's journal and led the room in prayer with Michael's family and his high school friends. His mother told that story publicly during Super Bowl week. Wilson also became the public face of Strong Against Cancer, a $100 million campaign to fund immunotherapy research at Seattle Children's. In 2016 alone his foundation presented a check for $1,060,005. And when he left Seattle, he didn't stop. He's made repeated visits to Children's Hospital Colorado in Denver, and to UPMC Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he's shown up multiple times since signing with the Steelers. But the ten years of Tuesdays in Seattle is the thing. Ten years is roughly 170 Tuesdays. It stopped being charity somewhere in there and just became part of the week. His own explanation: "There's a responsibility. Loving people and serving and giving back are crucial." A 23 year old rookie cold called a hospital and asked if he could come by. He never stopped coming. For more stories like this, follow us on any platform @thesportsontap

HOLY CRAP 🚨: Elon Musk backs billionaire Warren Buffett’s famous plan to eliminate the deficit in 5 minutes: “You just pass a law that says, ‘Anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for reelection.’” Elon Musk wrote on 𝕏: “💯 This is the way[!]” If the politicians in D.C. actually cared about the American people, they would pass this law tomorrow.

Elon Musk sent every Tesla employee a memo that took authority away from their managers and handed it to them. He never asks for more hours. Every rule moves a decision closer to the person doing the work. Musk: “Excessive meetings are the blight of big companies and almost always get worse over time.” Companies have a role for everyone who creates process and no role for anyone who removes it. Meetings and approval chains survive because removing them was never anyone’s job. Musk: “Walk out of a meeting or drop off a call as soon as it is obvious you aren’t adding value.” Attendance has always been treated as proof of commitment. He made it worthless, and contribution became the only thing that counts in the room. Musk: “It is not rude to leave, it is rude to make someone stay and waste their time.” Ordinary manners protect whoever called the meeting. He moved that protection to everyone else sitting quietly with real work waiting on them. Musk: “Don’t use acronyms or nonsense words for objects, software, or processes at Tesla. Anything that requires an explanation inhibits communication.” Internal vocabulary converts knowledge into status and charges every newcomer a fee to participate. A company that speaks plainly can absorb talent at full speed. Musk: “Communication should travel via the shortest path necessary to get the job done, not through the chain of command.” Most good ideas die in transit, three levels below anyone with the power to act on them. Musk: “Any manager who attempts to enforce chain of command communication will soon find themselves working elsewhere.” The only threat in the entire memo. A manager who insists on being routed through is buying his own relevance with everyone else’s time. Musk put a price on it. Musk: “Always pick common sense as your guide. If following a company rule is obviously ridiculous in a particular situation, the rule should change.” Following a bad rule normally shields you. Exercising judgment exposes you. He flipped which one carries the risk, and every rule now has to earn its place against the person applying it. Every institution drifts toward protecting its own comfort. The ones that keep building are held together by people who rewrite the rules back down to something a single person can act on. Nothing on that list requires a budget, a headcount, or a title. You can run the entire memo from wherever you are sitting right now. Most people never test it and never learn it was permitted the whole time.
