When you can focus on the fact that (1) they didn't choose to stay with you and (2) they gave up trying to work things out with you, you'll start seeing how eventually it wouldn't have worked out anyways because that person wasn't the right fit for you!
The person who's right for you will:
- fight for you and the relationship
- willing to do what it takes to make things work
- not walk away when things get hard
That breakup happened, so you now have the opportunity to find someone who will accept you and have your back no matter what.

Give yourself credit for trying. Working on yourself can be hard, but the rewards of not giving up can really change your life. Keep going.

Shaking my fists, yelling at the tv...
"OMG! THIIISSS is how we've picked up such horrible communication skills in relationships!!"
I was getting so frustrated with these dialogues in this tv show...
😒 Conversations creating more tension and confusion...
😣 People raising their voices, yelling at each other trying to make a point...
😩 Someone walking away in frustration, giving up.
Are people assuming this is the "norm" or that it's "ok" to communicate like this?!
We aren't trained in how to communicate effectively in relationships growing up, and now Hollywood makes things even worse with these overly dramatized conversations!
Ugh!! That's not ok!!
Open and honest communication is like a lifeline in any relationship.
It's more than just talking.
It's about connecting and understanding each other at a deeper level.
💬 Trade in assumptions for clarifying questions.
💬 Give up arguing and the need to be “right”.
💬 Choose to listen more intently and activate your curiosity.
💬 Share your unsaid expectations.
You can mend misunderstandings, hurt feelings, and disconnection... one conversation at a time.

Failure doesn’t mean “give up”.
Failure is just “not yet”.
Don’t give up just because it didn’t work out this time.
Find the learnings, and courageously try again. You’ll eventually find the answers you’re look for.
Instead of letting it stop you, change what failure means to you, and consider how you can use failure to your advantage.
Believe that what you want is on its way to you. Failures along the way become your reasons to celebrate later when you obtain your goal.

Ever felt like something's not quite right but can't put your finger on it?
That's your intuition signaling potential misalignments or red flags.
It could be in the way they evade commitment.
It could show up as inconsistencies between what they say and do.
It could be how they handle conflict.
First time should ignite your awareness.
Second time should invite your curiosity.
More than that is now a pattern.
It's up to you to have a conversation with your partner to determine if this is an adjustable behavior or a significant red flag.
Awareness and vigilance are your first lines of defense in this complex world of dating.

If you could love that person so much, even though they aren’t the right fit for you…
IMAGINE what it’d be like to be in a relationship with someone who IS the perfect fit for you.
Having your love reciprocated in a healthy way.
Feeling safe and being supported.
IMAGINE being yourself completely and being fully accepted by them.
No masks. No games.
You are enough as you are.
IMAGINE feeling safe to share your thoughts and feelings without filters.
They'll listen.
They'll make the effort to understand.
Yup, this is possible for you.
Hold out for someone who is worth your time and attention.
Hold out for someone who makes you a priority and wholeheartedly chooses you.
All you have to do is...
Move on from that person.
More importantly, believe in your love vision more than your fears and doubts.
Because your love vision can become your reality.

Avoid making someone a priority when you’re treated as an option.
Avoid waiting and being readily available only when it’s convenient for them.
You’re not on call. Your time + worth should be respected.
Continue investing in those who show you the same level of respect.

You don’t lose by loving.
You lose by holding back. You lose by hurting others as you’re scared to be hurt first. You lose by running away + not allowing yourself to be loved.
At times it’s easier to avoid being hurt, but the best solution is to actually open your heart + love.
