ROOSEVELT HS SRO ASSAULT: On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at approximately 3:19 p.m., two students were involved in a fight at Roosevelt High School in the 4300 block of 13th Street, NW. A school official intervened along with MPD School Resource Officers, to de-escalate the situation. One of the students, a juvenile female, assaulted one of the School Resource Officers, and she was subsequently sprayed with Oleoresin Capsicum pepper spray by another officer. The juvenile female was treated on scene, and the officer did not require medical attention. The 14-year-old juvenile female of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Assault on a Police Officer. #MPD
