Most motion briefs are a paragraph of adjectives. "Dynamic." "Fluid." Then the draft misses completely. We build a live prototype instead. Once approved, it becomes a code component in Webflow Cloud. This one updates with your local time of day.

I started with @webflow in 2019. In 2024 I met a @nicholasscimeca after a post I did about custom CSS. Today webflow reposted the site Mythical Creatures that collaborated on for @highlynecessary Pretty cool how things work sometimes. Here's the site: wearemythicalcreatures.com/

Got a new website project...? If it's a rebuild, the next thing to do is see how big it is - then QUOTE it. This tool makes understanding the site structure; pages, collections and locales super easy 👇

If you're aren't delivering every Webflow client-site with a component library you're doing them a disservice. In my latest post I explain why developing with a component-first mindset is valuable and offer some tips on getting started. calebraney.com/post/componen…

Same same but different, but still same! 😆 I don’t mind if folks copy my entire xSync Chrome extension’s code or even replicate the exact gallery style. Just let me know or at least give proper credit. Also, the donation button on the extension is the only source that helps me keep xSync bug-free and maintained. Does anyone know the RiseVerse creators?

There seems to be a good bit of discourse around @lovable in the no-code and design spaces. I love to see it, and while I don't disagree that it's a great tool, I'd implore you, should you decide to dabble, to give @boltdotnew its fair shake. I've had better success nailing core app functionalities in Bolt. Tho in terms of baseline design Lovable has taken the cake (and neither compete with @v0 there imo - and @onlookdev is looking real promising too). In either case, once you get to any sort've nuanced functionalities or opinionated/informed design decisions you're back to the ol slot machine pull/prey and your next best move is to take them into an agentic IDE. Great for MVPs but when you get into the real grit we're just not there yet. On the note of AI IDEs: if you're using @cursor_ai I'd urge you to try the alternatives. @windsurf_ai has properly converted me, tho I have some eyes on trying @cline soon. Damn. I almost tagged them all. I sort've hate this, anyway, yes. I've been building. No don't ask me what my stack costs atm 💸🫠

My friend mentioned yesterday that markup (.) io is getting expensive, so I decided to build an alternative in a day. It's still a work in progress, but in two weeks, he’ll be my first customer, and I’ll start using it internally with my clients. Excited to see where this goes! 😅

Having heaps of fun testing out VisualDX filters inside of @webflow using DesignerScripts by T.RICKS
I got a message that VisualDX was conflicting with some Webflow filter solutions, so I started working on a native VisualDX filters.

Designers who use VisualDX are already sorted [vdx-date-year]
How many designers today at 00:00 will be changing the copyright date on the footer to 2025? 😂 I'm considering creating a script to change that manually 😂😂

⚡️Added statistics in the hero section for Rapid301. 52481 Pages Redirected 40 URLs 873 hours saved ⭐️ How is hours saved calculated? Humans do 1-2 URLs per minute. This many pages would take humans between 26K-52K minutes. Rapid301 does up to 1000 per second 🚀

Link to a section on another page and scroll to it (robust method). In link settings add link -> /page/#sectionId Add this code snippet to ensure the page is fully loaded ensure a smooth scroll. <script> window.addEventListener("load", () => { setTimeout(() => { if (window.location.hash) { const element = document.querySelector(window.location.hash); if (element) { element.scrollIntoView({ behavior: "smooth" }); } } }, 100); // Adjust delay if necessary }); </script>

Here's what I'm expecting to see on IX3 + @greensock: - Full access to all GSAP premium plugins if you have a workspace and / or billing plan - ALL CSS properties can be animated by IX3 (not only transform, opacity, etc. You can animate ANYTHING with GSAP) - An improved UI for complex interactions, more in lines with patterns that we see on motion sofware like AE, Fable, etc. Timelines, individual layers / rows for each selected element, etc - If we can get an improved coding experience, where you can visualize JS inside the Preview, maybe we can get GSAP + IX3 to interact beyond CSS? Hello @threejs? I know it's just a wishlist / prediction list, but if WF can nail some of the above, I'll be happy!
