The primary interest a man has in a woman is her fertility, which he judges by her appearance + age. All other interests are secondary to that. That's biology. Shaming living things for their biological structure is silly.
Prime fertility years for women start to decline mid-20s and reach low levels mid-30s. 35 is considered "geriatric" pregnancy, and is known to be risky.
Therefore, a man wants a woman's 20s more than anything else.
The deal we used to have was: if you give it to him, he takes care of you for the rest of your life.
The deal we (increasingly) have now is: she spends all of that on fun with strangers and then offers you the very little value that's left when she's ready to retire.
Most men start out low value and grow over time with skill and wealth.
Most women start out high value and degrade over time with age.
The deal was: give your 20s to a well-behaved go-getter and stick with him through thick and thin he'll take care of you.
The deal now is: "my 20s are for meeeeee wheeeee fun! also your success is for me when I'm done with the fun buy me a house now that I'm 40"
