Last week, 16 teams pitched live in Belgrade at the Buildstation Demo Day for Crypto World's Fair, and we're proud to announce the winners.
🥇 1,750 USDG: @lumiagame
Roblox for homeschooling.
🥈 1,250 USDG: @muralis_io
Market making and treasury automation for Solana token teams, without handing over custody. Funds never leave the team's own wallet.
🥉 1,000 USDG: @Cognios_io
AI tutors built from real experts' knowledge, with personal feedback instead of passive videos.
🎓 Best student team, 500 USDG: @telebux_xyz
One sales workspace for every chat you sell through.
🌱 Best first-timer, 500 USDG: @1taptrade
A price chart turned into a game: tap where the price goes next, and if it gets there, you win.
Big thanks to our judges @blockchainbane1, Alex Pantić from @streamflow_fi and @instantfinality for their time and the feedback they gave the teams.

Crypto and Web3 have grown insanely over the past few years, especially in the Balkans, and Solana is probably the main vehicle for that growth.
The Balkan Side of Solana. ^^

Just got our incubator application deck roasted: 5.6/10.
Sounds like a mid grade but this clanker is stricter than our electrical engineering professors.
Roasted by @Cognios_io, built on @JosipVolarevic2's $9M+ fundraising expertise

We ran @vibhu’s pitch deck through our roaster.
4.4/10. Not great, not terrible.
Good enough for @JosipVolarevic2 to jump on a call?
Somehow, yes.

A $781B ad market pays apps cents and people nothing.
Web3 advertisers already pay $1.86-3.12 for one verified wallet. The wallet owner sees none of it.
Why is the person giving the attention the ONLY ONE who doesn’t get paid?

We’re building @Cognios_io to turn real experts’ knowledge into personal AI tutors.
You don’t stop needing a good teacher when you leave school.

Preply surveyed 5,000+ professionals: 49% kept learning for months but still struggled to apply it. 63% felt busy learning without improving.
That’s the metric I care about for @Cognios_io: can the learner actually do the thing afterwards?

Google.org is backing AI-learning initiatives at universities.
That’s the kind of pilot we want for Cognios: turn a professor’s expertise into an AI tutor, test it with real students, and see what they learn.
We’re close to launching. @Googleorg, interested?

Arivihan’s $10M round is now confirmed, co-led by Accel and Prosus.
Its founder says some of its strongest adoption is already coming from smaller towns and rural areas.
That’s the opportunity: not just better tutoring, but better access. @Cognios_io is getting close.
Arivihan is raising about $10M to expand AI tutoring in smaller Indian cities. Good teaching still depends too much on whether the right expert happens to be nearby.
@Cognios_io is our attempt to change that by turning expert knowledge into AI tutors.

INSEAD is rolling ChatGPT Edu out across the whole school. Their roadmap already includes personalized learning and measuring whether students actually learned.
That second part is the one I care about most.
We’re getting @Cognios_io ready for the launch soon.

Australian tutoring company Dymocks Tutoring closed its five Sydney centres.
Its CEO says AI isn’t as good as its tutors, but at A$30/month, it may be better value.
Quite a headline to read while we prepare to launch @Cognios_io, our AI tutoring platform.

Harvard wants its AI tutor to guide students without giving away the answers.
We’re building @Cognios_io with the same goal: learn from experts, practice with an AI tutor, and show you can do it yourself.

a16z just backed a school where admission is heavily weighted on what you’ve built, shipped or earned.
No recommendation letters at the first stage. Founding partners include OpenAI, Anthropic and Google.
“POW” is becoming an education product.

An expert can spend 20 minutes explaining a method, then casually add "but here’s what I actually do." @Cognios_io want to make sure that next sentence makes it into the AI tutor.
