Absolutely insane hail storm. Looks like snow over here. @NWSElPaso #txwx
After 3 days of early voting in El Paso County:
🔷 2026: 55,028 <- midterm record
▫️ 2024: 56,109
▫️ 2022: 30,021
▫️ 2020: 70,577
🔸 2018: 54,015
▫️ 2016: 51,372
Best comparison should be 2018.
It’s giving Explosions in the Sky/Friday Night Lights vibes.
Dems will need to make up ground here if they expect the race to be close w/ Talarico & Paxton.
El Paso had 17,517 early votes cast on Day 1 of EV. Combined w mail-in, it was 22,413 (4.14% registered voters). By comparison the 2018 “Beto effect” had higher day 1 turnout with 5.13%. The 2022 midterm day 1 was only 2.33%. Sooo..we’re trending ahead of 2022, behind 2018.
El Paso winds took out half of the roof overnight (there used to be a covered patio here). I don’t even want to talk about the damage inside. 😭😭 @NWSElPaso #txwx
So proud of Eli & Elliot! Jennifer’s Angels podcast, which they co-host, has now been featured at the @TAASA
& @casfvep FJWC conferences. Their podcast focuses on building healthy relationships & self image to prevent Teen Dating Violence. 💙💛 @EastwoodHQ @RealRobRobledo
Such a great time with my favorite person @elliotmarkurey last night for Jennifer Ann’s Group annual fundraiser. JAG’s mission is to stop teen dating violence through new and emerging media platforms. Very proud of the work they’re doing. #StopTDV
Does he even realize how many military bases are located in San Diego/Los Angeles? Who exactly will continue fighting this war he started if he suggests obliterating two of our largest Navy bases?
I’m sitting at the coffee shop at the El Paso County Courthouse- there has been a steady stream of people coming to register to vote on the last day. I’m curious how the new voter enthusiasm will impact this midterm- if at all.

A reminder- this “journalist” was part of the Jan 6 breach.

Texas is so undisciplined. The culture of this team is showing more as the weeks progress. Idk if this is a Sark problem - but the school who just eliminated women & gender studies having men making DV jokes and mimicking peeing on opponents doesn’t shock me.
I can’t decide if UTEP is actually better than their week 1 debut or if Michigan is actually as bad as their week 1 debut.
There sure are a lot of folks who are happy about having fewer journalists questioning how our tax dollars are spent from people who wanted to drain the swamp.
Texas’s Railroad Commission controls the state’s Oil & Gas industry and ostensibly tracks the state’s zombie wells. The best candidate should be more concerned w/environmental protections of Texans & their land and less on their skin color.
