They called it apartheid. The ballot box called them liars. Arab and Muslim parties are winning 17 seats in Israel’s parliament, the Knesset. Arab turnout was above 70% in town after town. Wait, I thought Zionists were racist, so how come these “racists” are giving parliamentary seats to Arabs and Muslims, who, in turn, came out to vote? Some villages hit 90% turnout. They democratically participated and voted in a Zionist democratic system they believe in? Arabs now hold about 14% of Israel’s parliament. Muslim MPs hold about 4% of Britain’s. Odd kind of apartheid, where the “oppressed” vote harder than London does.

She has to lie ...Mark Carney was absolutely there for once. However his record is = Carney attended 36 out of 137 Question Periods (26% attendance) during his first several months in office through June 2026, and has missed over 100 Question Periods overall, 👇a stupid liar
Pierre Poilievre today in Parliament accused Mark Carney of not standing up to answer any questions.... The issue? Mark Carney wasn't in Parliament at the time. This is the level of theatre and bullshit Poilievre constantly engages in. While Mark Carney is working to improve Canada, Pierre Poilievre is working on self promotion and trying to create theatre and social media clips. Thank God we elected an actual adult.

I’ve seen some posts from folks upset that palestinians weren’t allowed to vote in Israel’s elections. Well, no, they weren’t. Canadians are not allowed to vote in US elections, either. Gazans have their own elections, apparently every 20 years or more.

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING - EUROPE IS GOING TO CHARGE US A CARBON TARIFF. You paid a carbon price for years. Now, Canadian iron, steel and aluminum are NOT exempt.
Total exposure? $2.8 billion a year. Starting in 2027. Global Affairs own memo called it "effectively a 'carbon tariff.'" 😭 And it lands the same week Carney hosts the EU summit in Montreal. The Liberals hit us with carbon taxes for years. NOW EUROPE IS GOING TO TAX US ANYWAY. Imagine what they would do to us if we joined.

The cracks are already showing in this Canada / EU alliance before the summit even takes place. Germany, Italy, France and Greece objected to a draft EU-Canada declaration that cites Von der Leyen’s “associate membership” offer. They are the biggest members in the EU and without their support this over the top announcement tomorrow essentially means nothing. And can you guess how many Canadian news outlets are reporting on this? I’ve seen one. That’s it. The rest it’s all sunshine and lollipops.

In Israel, Muslims had the highest voter turnout out of any group. Under Palestinian rule, it’s literally illegal to sell land to a Jew. Guess which is accused of apartheid?

Actually, Israel is the only country in the Middle East where Jews, Muslims and Christians all have the right to vote in national elections. So where’s the outcry about the discrimination, religious restrictions and lack of democratic freedoms in so many other Arab and Islamic countries? Not a peep from those who claim to champion human rights, because apparently, their principles only apply when Israel is the target. Funny how that works, isn’t it? 🤔

They're not Israeli citizens, they're Palestinian Authority citizens. They can't vote because Abbas cancelled their 2021 election and Hamas hasn't held one since 2006. Blaming Israel for that is the "thinks you're too dumb to know" move.

EXACTLY this !!!!
What Israel did in Gaza may well go down in history as the most humane and precise urban warfare environment the world has ever known—the very opposite of genocide. The entire purpose of a genocide is to push civilians into the killing zone. Think about what happened in the Holocaust, where children in line at Auschwitz were given bars of soap, where inside of the gas chambers there were fake shower heads. What was the point? It was to trick and induce civilians to get in to the killing zone so that you could kill more of them more efficiently over time. Israel has done the very opposite—warning civilians and then manning humanitarian corridors with its own soldiers, risking its own sons’ and daughters’ lives to ensure that civilians get out of the killing zone. We see two remarkable things in Gaza. First, according to preeminent urban warfare scholars like John Spencer, Richard Kemp, and Andrew Fox, Israel has the lowest militant-to-civilian kill ratio in the history of urban warfare. Genocides have extreme civilian-to-militant kill ratios. Hundred, thousand, ten thousand-to-one. That’s the point of a genocide. Here we have a militant-to-civilian kill ratio of may be two-to-one—not consistent not just with law of war violations—but much less with genocide. Second, and more importantly, all genocidal regimes get better over time at killing civilians. Again, think about the Holocaust. The Nazis started with firing squads killing 20, 30, 50 people at a time and realized that was too inefficient. Then they got these vans and filled them with exhaust pipes, and they would kill more people. And they said, “We’re never going to get to six million killing them this way.” That led them to construct these massive gas chambers and crematoria—the architecture of true genocide—to kill thousands and thousands of people cheaply and efficiently a day. Israel has done the opposite. Even if you believe Hamas’ numbers, the scale of civilian death in Gaza went down over time. Israel got better and better and spent hundreds of millions of shekels learning how to become more efficient at preserving innocent Palestinians’ lives. Again, the very opposite of genocide.
