Overall, I feel like the Ducks game last night might've been a view into how this season could go overall. Truly explosive and dominant stretches accompanied by shakier moments during crunch time. They will be a fun team that will still have to learn some hard lessons.

We probably should’ve considered his name more in hindsight. Finland looked at him this past year and thought he was the guy to lead a team with Rantanen, Aho, Heiskenen, Hintz, etc (yes I know Barkov was out)
What is the one thing we always say about the Fins in just about every international competition? They’re smart, they do the little things right and they play the right way. That team with that reputation wanted Granlund wearing the C.

Will I watch every single game this season? YES.
Do I fully understand this is a rebuild year and we could win approximately 3 games and a coin toss? YES.
Do I know there will be Sundays where this team looks like it was assembled in the parking lot 45 minutes before kickoff? YES.
Will I still wake up every game day thinking, “Actually… I have a weird feeling we’re winning today”? YES.
Will I completely ignore logic, roster construction, Vegas odds, common sense, and every piece of evidence available to me? YES.
Will I convince myself by kickoff that Miami is about to shock the world? YES.
Will I then act personally betrayed, disgusted, and emotionally devastated when the rebuilding football team does, in fact, play like a rebuilding football team? YES.
Will I bitch about it for the next 72 hours? YES.
Do I see the problem here? YES.
Will I change literally anything about my behavior?
