You're living in the comfort of your pillow, with someone telling you that Tinubu is no longer acceptable in the North. Stop deceiving yourself! This is the North. This is Katsina—the Katsina of the late Baba Buhari, the Katsina of Governor Dikko Radda @dikko_radda, the hometown of Kabir Ibrahim Masari, the home state of Minister Hannatu Musawa @hanneymusawa , and the home state of Dauda Kahutu Rarara. Please, who does your party have in Katsina State that makes you think you can beat us?

ALWAN HASSAN ASKS ATIKU: WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR THE NORTH IN 27 YEARS? Mallam Alwan Hassan @yesmylo has challenged @atiku Abubakar to explain his contributions to Northern Nigeria after decades in public life. Speaking at a press briefing in Kano, Alwan questioned Atiku’s record on investment in the North, raised questions about his investments in Dubai, and challenged him to spell out concrete plans for addressing the region’s challenges and moving Nigeria forward. His message is straightforward: the North deserves more than promises and expressions of concern. People want to see meaningful investments, practical solutions, and results that improve lives in their communities. Atiku, these are questions that deserve clear answers. @BolajiADC @realkenokonkwo @DeleMomodu @_dinomelaye @officialABAT @OfficialAPCNg @nentawe1 @DrSRJ_ @SundayDareSD @aonanuga1956 @DOlusegun @otegaogra

Nigeria’s proposed $21.7 billion external financing plan is designed to fund investments across 10 priority sectors over an estimated five-year period, with $10.6 billion earmarked for transportation infrastructure, including the Sokoto–Badagry Highway, Lagos–Calabar Coastal Highway and Kano–Kaduna rail project. Finance Minister Taiwo Oyedele clarified that the plan does not mean the entire amount has already been borrowed or will necessarily be drawn down in full. The government also highlighted social and infrastructure interventions, including over ₦600 billion in cash transfers to more than 10 million households, subsidised single-digit-interest loans for over 800,000 MSMEs, and plans to expand electricity transmission capacity from 5,000MW to about 19,000MW within two years. Meanwhile, the Federal Executive Council approved road projects valued at approximately ₦594.49 billion, alongside efforts to clear more than 300 containers of power equipment stranded at Nigerian ports.

I support the private sector venturing into railway transportation. We can't rely on government for everything. Let the government continue laying new tracks while the private sector provide the trains. We have been left far in the area of rail transportation which is the cheapest.
NRC invites private firms to run own trains on its tracks. 🚆 The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), established for sole control of railways, is offering private operators access to its approximately 4,000. The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), established for sole control of railways, is offering private operators access to its approximately 4,000 km rail network for a fee, provided they supply their own locomotives and rolling stock. Kayode Opeifa, managing director of the NRC, said the corporation grants what it calls track access, permitting private and private companies to operate on railway infrastructure built with public funds. “You can bring your train, bring your locomotive, bring your wagons, bring your everything. We will run it on it. You just pay us your money. We don’t want to run the trains alone,” Opeifa told stakeholders Tuesday
