🚨 Federal Tax Dollars: The Hidden Fraud in Government Accounting 🚨 Did you know that our governments create their own accounting rules, allowing them to hide trillions in unfunded liabilities like pensions, Social Security, and Medicare? This isn't just poor bookkeeping—it's deliberate misleading that lets politicians claim "balanced budgets" while piling on massive debt with your tax dollars. For example, over $67 trillion in promised federal benefits aren't even reported on balance sheets, and states are sitting on nearly $1 trillion in unreported retirement obligations. This fraud erodes trust and prevents real accountability. The solution? Change the rules: Shift to accrual-based accounting for budgets to reflect true expenses and liabilities, just like the private sector. It's the essential guardrail to ensure transparency and stop the mismanagement of public funds. Read the full details here: truthinaccounting.org/news/d… Join the call for reform! #GovtAccountingTruth

Truth In Accounting: NJ last again with $45k of debt per taxpayer. @truthinacct gave NJ "F" grades for all yrs under @GovMurphy, who used revenue windfalls to spend $47bn on pensions but didn't move the needle on total debt. Top 5 states=red; bottom 5=blue sunlightpolicynj.org/truth-i…

This makes the case for smaller government.
WTF?! MARYLAND JUST TOLD DAYCARES TO KEEP THE CHANGE. ALL $66.5 MILLION OF IT. The state's own internal audits found $66.5 million in overpayments to childcare providers between 2023 and 2025. Invoices never came in. Sign-in sheets were missing. Money went out for kids who weren't even enrolled anymore. So what did the state do? It let them keep it. Maryland's education department announced it would not pursue "broad recoupments," and it even planned to hand back money that providers had already repaid. One provider told FOX45 exactly how it feels on the receiving end: "We do not have to pay it back. We did not earn it. We did not provide the service for it." Maryland law says overpayments get collected. This program exploded from $132 million to $560 million in five years, and the people running it admit they never had the systems to track the money. That's your money. If a regular family got overpaid by the state, they'd be chased for every last penny. Daycare providers just got a $66.5 million pass. foxbaltimore.com/news/projec…

Taxpayers pay the bills!
On September 4th, @GovWesMoore was asked by @FoxBaltimores's @RealGaryCollins whether he would commit to no new taxes and increases. He would not, choosing an evasive answer instead. When pressed again, he ended the encounter. $2.7 billion short next year, and he won't say who pays.

The taxpayers watchdog should always be protected!
On 1/24/26, w/o notice, access was cut off for the Baltimore OIG who serves as the taxpayers’ fiscal watchdog. Subpoenas went unanswered. One month later, on 2/24, the OIG filed a lawsuit to fight for Baltimore voters. This interview occurred then - exactly 7 months ago. ⚖️

BREAKING EXCLUSIVE: TPM's @KatieDaviscourt investigated Somali home daycares in Seattle. Could there be millions of dollars of potential misuse of taxpayer funds? When she knocked on doors, often no one answered and if they did they were hostile and defensive. Neighbors say they have never seen any kids! These individual daycares are receiving $40,000 - $70,000 per month.

Ask every candidate if they understand the audited financial reports. And if they know if the district has an unrestricted net position. If they can’t answer that, they are not a serious candidate. Learn more from @truthinacct

Must read article about South Carolina because it's happening everywhere!!! postandcourier.com/news/spec… During the past year, Florence County had to loan over $2.4 million to three of its counties. “Do you want three of your (county’s) nine municipalities to file for bankruptcy or default on a bond?” Kevin Yokim, Florence County’s administrator, said of the stakes.

True! If you have to borrow money to balance a budget- it ain't balanced!
Wes Moore has balanced nothing. He inherited a multi-billion-dollar surplus, raised $2 billion in taxes and fees, and still managed to drive Maryland into another multi-billion-dollar deficit. The result? The first state credit downgrade in a generation, and next legislative session Maryland is staring down the barrel of implementing the SECOND record-setting tax increase in two years. That FACT is real. And now he wants to lecture us on fiscal responsibility? That takes nerve and a desperate hope that voters are clueless.
