@rsg I’ve been using @trysunflower again after a churn and omg man it’s getting SO GOOD.
This sounds nuts to suggest but if you guys made your own email service instead of wrapping GMail I think it’d really shake things up.

Been playing with the current required reading of the internet this weekend, Jev.
Here are a few areas related to dynamic UI, optimization, and more forward thinking stuff we're experimenting with for @trysunflower:
Your email is not a neutral piece of technology. It's design has potential to deeply shape your thoughts and habits.
Sunflower is built for you, to protect your attention and time.
We're often asked: why email?
Email because no one questions it anymore. It's one of the most frustrating apps on your phone. We want to show you how it can be done better.
You can expect more out of your inbox.
Your email and social media share the same psychological tricks to keep you coming back.
We're building something different: optimized for your attention and focus.
Give today's newsletter a read.
In 1974, Stephen Lukasik became 'the first email addict'. Long before smartphones or laptops, he carried around a 30 pound Texas Instruments terminal. He took it everywhere, checked his email several times a day.
At the time this was absurd. Fifty years later, we're all him.

We're also offering a $5k referral bonus if you send us a great candidate that we hire
We’re ramping up at @trysunflower and hiring another iOS engineer (Swift / UIKit / SwiftUI).
If you sweat the details and care about how software actually feels to use, we should talk.

Can confirm -> the new @framer logo shaders are absurdly good. Infinite customization and so much fun to play with. Dropped a few @trysunflower svgs in, and created a background sound with @floraai's new audio tools.
