Thanks for the memories Pokemon TCG 鉁岋笍 I may have never day 2'd a major, but I'll always have my 'winner' stamped Pikachu. 馃ス
The audacity of @pokehawkeye to say this about Gardevoir (GAR-DE-VOIR!!) in 2026 is a level of confidence I can only dream of.
Chat, should I clean out this guy at the night time vintage flea market or leave some for the kids 馃槶
Dear rip & shippers, scalpers, and other profiteering capitalists,
Your window for wringing max value out of players due to artificially limited supply is closing rapidly. I hope your stack of poke pads rots.
Played @Julius07142873 list, -1 Lillie +1 Shaymin
Bruh...we gotta find space for an air balloon 馃槶
(lost round 5 after spending NINE TURNS with a zero-energy grim in the active vs gardy)
Hey poke friends, I don't ask for much but would appreciate an RT here!
Selling for a friend who found at his parents house and has a baby on the way. Most of the cards were wrecked but found some gems! Link in comments.
hi @BestPokemonDeal any chance you could post this one? Unique product + last one sealed sold for $250...the booklet even has a picture of 11 year-old Ross Cawthon!
Last two were friendlies (Double ID) but the zoroark game was awesome so I'm counting it. Also they ran out of packs so I had to get store credit 馃槶
It's Friday night. You're getting ready for Seattle day 2, I'm grinding Festival Lead to Arceus.
We are not the same.
Festival lead will reliably trash this deck. 馃崕馃崗馃悞
Mega Lucario looks REALLY good post rotation and as I鈥檓 scouring through Facebook Marketplace to pickup IR Riolu鈥檚, here鈥檚 why Lucario is going to be very strong:
1. Strong OHKO threats rotate.
Gone are the titans of Gholdengo/Gardevoir/Charizard that can trivially kill a Lucario in one hit for pretty low commitment. Cards like Hero鈥檚 Cape don鈥檛 even work, since you鈥檒l still get one shot through Hero鈥檚 Cape against these archetypes frequently. Most post-rotation archetypes will struggle to KO Lucario.
2. Iono Rotates
Iono rotating benefits aggressive decks that can snowball early leads. It also benefits decks that can stash strong hands when they don鈥檛 get disrupted (think multiple Premium Power Pro, Wally鈥檚 Compassion, Hariyama, Boss鈥檚 Orders, etc)
3. Effective Judge Enabler
There are few decks that can apply early pressure combined with the primary disruption of the format, Judge. (No, I will not be playing Harelequin)
In a post rotation environment filled with single prize decks like Alakazam/Festival Lead, slamming Judges & hitting turn 1-2 KO鈥檚 with Solrock + Hariyama feels inherently strong.
4. Wally鈥檚 Compassion + Hero鈥檚 Cape
In a field where we expect our Lucario to survive semi-often, the ability to eat a hit, retreat into a second Lucario & Wally the damaged one into an Aura Jab to re-establish energies feels quite good, especially given we鈥檒l be more likely to hold Wally鈥檚 on key turns without Iono in format.
I will definitely have to fly to Prague in April to play this deck 馃憤
