Of course your club coach is going to tell you how amazing you are, how your HS coach is hating on you and how they can “get you to the next level”. You keep paying them thousands of dollars every year to be on their team…

If you’re not playing, it’s probably because you’re not good enough to play.
The amount of excuses as to why players aren’t getting playing time is getting crazier & crazier everyday ..
Why you think you’re not playing ..
“Politics”
“My coach doesn’t like me”
“His/her dad is the coach”
“I don’t have the right last name”
“My coach only plays favorites”
In reality, here’s why you’re not playing ..
•Someone is better than you
•You didn’t show up all summer
•You have an excuse for everything
•You’re late
•You can’t remember the plays
•You aren’t coachable
•You aren’t proving your value everyday in practice
Look in the mirror before you make excuses!

If folks had any idea...the crap that coaches kids endure, hear, and are told..
End of football season always sucks. You put so much time and energy in it. The people that suffer the most are my own kids. But to be able to sit down on the bench after The Boro Boys laid it all on the line and played their tails off, and have my little one say “Daddy, I’m so proud of you” just about did me in. She doesn’t see all the time that she loses, she sees all the investment in other peoples kids and embraces the life of a coaches kid. I appreciate all the people that make it possible for me personally. Thank you Chrystal, Marsha, Roger, Michael, Myles, and Malaya for letting me live out my dream job every day!

Even Georgia's walk ons are getting drafted.
Congratulations to Dan Jackson.
Never given a scholarship.
Not given a Combine invitation.
Not given a chance.
Dude was freaking drafted.
And for good reason. Smart. Instinctive.
Will hit you so hard your kids will be concussed.

With the 230th pick of the 2025 @NFLDraft, the @Lions selected @GeorgiaFootball S @danjackson_10.
On 33 targets faced in 2024, he did not surrender a TD reception and allowed a passer rating of 56.3, per @PFF.

"If you get Dan, you get the whole package." From walk-on to NFL Draft pick, Dan Jackson gets his name called. A perfect fit with Dan Campbell's Football Guy culture in Detroit.
