We all love cricket. It gives us so much joy and pleasure. However, behind this great game lie some experiences which are not all pleasant. Here's one such true story. 1/n
Finally, #Dorothy on @Netflix. Top class craft by @karthiksubbaraj as an amazing tale unfolds. Found the ending a bit underwhelming but overall, a big step forward for Tamil movies. Needless to add, maestro @ilaiyaraaja's music is something else.
I grew up in Chennai and living in Bengaluru for 3 decades. Bengaluru has several urban infra issues to tackle but no company is shifting to Chennai. Chennai is way behind and have to do lots to catch up, starting with a world class airport which directly connects the world.
Thank you @DKShivakumar sir - you will be the reason for many software giants shifting their operations or increasing their team strength in Coimbatore and Chennai .
Your service much needed for Tamilnadu !

Marketing is about optimism and exaggeration. I get that. But @JioHotstar advertising the forthcoming @BCCI Ind vs Aus test series as India’s fortress is something else.
Sai Kishore has always had remarkable control for a left arm spinner. Shockingly, he is never considered even for India A matches. Hopefully, a left arm spinner leading the selectors will better understand Sai Kishore's craft.
R Sai Kishore stars with a 10-wicket haul, leading from the front as Tamil Nadu beat last year's semi-finalists Uttarakhand by an innings and 66 runs. Kishore is one of the most tenacious bowlers you will come across in domestic cricket. He can keep hitting the same spot relentlessly, and cue in his variations at important times, something that makes overcoming him a tough challenge for any batter. #RanjiTrophy2026
Yet exactly one month later on Nov 19, NZ will forget all these FTAs and roll out a damp and grassy surface at Wellington!
Indian goods will receive 100% duty-free access to New Zealand’s market.
The #IndiaNewZealandFTA, coming into force tomorrow, will benefit Indian farmers, MSMEs, entrepreneurs and labour-intensive sectors.
FTA also provides 5,000 visas for skilled Indians in fields such as IT, engineering and healthcare to work in New Zealand.
I congratulate PM Shri @narendramodi Ji and Union Minister Shri @PiyushGoyal Ji on strengthening India’s global trade partnerships and creating new opportunities across sectors.

This is column #84 in the series "Startups: Vai-Thee-Fuss?" in @businessline which talks about why several Indian startups shifted their legal entities outside India. Hope you like it.
In this column #85 in the series "Startups: Vai-Thee-Fuss?", I explain why several startups who had shifted their legal entities overseas are now coming back to India.

Nearly all major forecasters, including the IMF, ADB and World Bank, have recently raised their growth forecasts for India to above 7% for this year AND next. Remarkable in itself - even more so when viewed against India’s recent performance. (1/n)

Statement from Reliance Industries
In light of recent remarks about Reliance and the Indian market, we wish to place the facts on record.
Like every Indian enterprise, Reliance has grown in an India that welcomes investment and innovation, homegrown or international, that improve the lives of the people.
That openness rests on the rule of law. As the Government of India has stated, it applies the same process to every applicant, Indian or foreign. Jio's own satellite services await clearances.
At Reliance, we have never feared competition. We see it as the truest test of who serves the customer best. Jio itself entered India's crowded telecom market in 2016 as the newest player, with not a single customer. In just ten years, Jio has earned the trust of over 530 million customers and given Indians some of the best digital infrastructure and most affordable data in the world.
We welcome competition in satellite communications, including Starlink. Every player, Jio included, must serve the people of India and abide by the laws and policies of the land.

#WATCH | Delhi: Rajat Sethi, Executive Committee Member of the Harvard Club of India (the official alumni group of Harvard University), says, "As a member of the elected body of the Executive Council of the Harvard Club of India, which is the official alumni group of Harvard University alumni in India, I wanted to issue a clarification that certain individuals have gone ahead and issued a letter remarking on and making comments about the recent protest and the detention that followed. I wanted to issue a clarification that this is not the official position of the Harvard Club of India. Also, the charter and the mandate of the Harvard Club of India prohibit issuing any political statement on either its behalf or on behalf of Harvard University. Therefore, this clarification is to explain to the larger audience that certain individuals who happen to be alumni of Harvard University have issued the statement in their personal capacity. While we respect personal expression, that is not a substitute for institutional representation."
